If werewolves, while they were still phasing, don't age, how come Jacob gets taller and his hair longer? If they age physicaly, but not mentally, then... What is mental aging anyway? Isn't physical aging the only kind that counts?

ok there is an insain difference between vampires and werewolves. vampires are basically discribed a stone that moves. they are hardend to harder than stone all there organs and cells and things like that are dead in a sense ou plus like La Reine des Neiges in the exact state that they are in after the transformation. where as loups garous on the other hand change all the time it is basically like reneesme she grows at an excedenly fast pace and then when she looks like an adult she stops growing all together. same for the loups the have and insain growth spurt and then once they look like adults they stop ageing. so in other words they become fully mature on the outside but on the inside the don't grow older. and then eventually they don't change at all but thier hair because that effects the length of the fur. they do not age but they are still human so salut can get sick. they are still about half human.

It's differant from vampires.
loups garous are still half human, whereas vampires are not.
With vampires, the vemon is like cement in there systems, it hardens them like stone.
With the loups they're still mostly human, the only reason they stoped aging is because of phasing.
They grow because, basicly, they're body's shift when they phase, so they're Bones adjust everytime.

okay, um, so loups garous do not age while they are still phasing, but they grow physically to a full state of maturity because of that. like the person above me said, it's like Renesmee. they grow and grow at an alarming rate, and then they stop growing all together. with vampires however, when they are changed into vampires, their body changes. they change to become inhumanly beautiful, and incredibly dangerous. other than that, they are completely La Reine des Neiges in that state. their skin becomes rock hard as a defense mechanism because they are generally supposed to be unstoppable and (virtually) impossible to kill. the venom replaces their bodily fluids (blood, saliva, etc.) and allows movement. but they are still La Reine des Neiges in that state, and their bodies are completely incapable of change, where as a werewolf changes constantly.
