well to tell u the truth i didn't know the song but when i heard it (before 5minutes ou sth!) i don't think that it really suits.. i mean edward'd never hate bella he just hated himself and thought he was a monster! in fact with bella at the beginning he disliked plus himself, i believe, coz she made him think plus like a vampire... however, the sentence that matches with midnight sun is "why do i l’amour you"!

In a way... But I believe the song "Animal I Have Become" accurately describes both Edward (throughout series) AND Jacob (New Moon)

They both hate what they see in the mirror and are terrified silly of hurting Bella, so yeah...

I'm a HUGE 3 Days Grace fan, and I l’amour that song, but I don't think it fits. He didn't hate Bella. He hated her for making him want her so badly. He hated himself that he can't resist, and he can't stay away from her for her own good, and his family. He self loathes himself. He never blamed Bella. And I agree, 'Animal I have Become' is an excellent choice for how he feels in Midnight Sun.
