Yea I think it was pretty boring because there was no intense fighting like in Twilight(between Edward and James and Eclipse between the Cullens and newborns) also in New Moon...........no Cullens :(

I'll have to answer for both the book and movie since they are very different.

Book: I absolutely loved the book. I loved how SM described Bella's pain and how she captured that and shared that with the reader.

"Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the seconde hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me." – Bella, New Moon; pg. 93

“There was nothing special about this place without him. I wasn’t exactly sure what I’d hoped to feel here, but the meadow was empty of atmosphere, empty of everything, just like everywhere else.”— Bella, New Moon; pg. 234

People say "read between the lines"... but these aren't lines. These are tiny, obscure, shattered shards of glass and it's impossible to feel nothing but pain from these words. The metaphors SM uses like the "pulse of blood behind a bruise", "moonless night" and many plus in the book keeps me reading. Sure, it's the saddest/depressing book, but I l’amour it so much. And even though Edward is physically out of the picture, he's still lingering in the words and pages. Everything Bella thinks somehow comes back to Edward. So, really, he's not gone. He's a ghostly remnant, a memory and Bella doesn't ever want that memory to be forgotten because that pain was the only proof that Edward had existed. And that can be traced back to:

"When life offers a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end." – Bella, Twilight; pg. 1

Bella's dream had ended at the beginning of New Moon. When she coasted through those months without him, she realized that she couldn't live without him. "Pain is gain" in very loose terms. We learn from pain and agony. It's what makes us stronger. Of course, probably not to that degree, but it doesn't diminish that fact.

Movie: the movie hardly showed any emotion the book did so it was boring because of that fact. The cuddly moments between J/B and the lip grazing before Edward's phone call was slightly out of canon. But, Jacob and Bella's relationship was portrayed correctly, most of the time. However, they never established E/B's relationship, nor did they re-establish it at the end of the movie. I didn't feel anything when watching the movie. Whether it's due to the fact that the movie failed with the script, the director's vision, ou even the actors, I didn't feel anything as a viewer. Sure, the movie is plus impressive looking, cinematically, but the emotion is gone. So what's the point. A movie can't stand on looks alone. The audience needs to be captivated, and taken on a journey. And, this journey fell short. It was plus of a wandering. There was no flow, no immersion, no raptness. So again I ask... what's the point?

No. first of all, no cullens :). toi got to see how bella really was. it was also important. toi saw how hurt bella was over her precious bloodsucker, and how nice, friendly, and helpful jacob was to her. toi saw how happy bella could have been human.

new moon is my seconde favori in the saga and i really dont understand why people dont like it. wht b/c edward isnt in there that much, wht a lame excuse. but i was like oh, no edward isnt gonna be in this one that much so it wont be that good but i was so wrong, i couldnt stop, just as good as the first and if not better. i just l’amour stephanie meyer's writing. my favori part is the end of the book when bella is back in her room and her and edward are talking to the end of the book. i thought such a beautiful part. loved it..

now that all three films r out...new moon was weak. i have to admit wht i loved about new moon is the new looks and how much better tha characters looked, but i think that's about it. new moon movie has to be my least favorite. and the god, why r the scenes sooooo short...i mean come on. eclipse was a great improvemt but it was still lacking, dont get me wrong i loved eclipse best movie in the saga and all but its just summit and the screenwritter, they need to pick up their game, especially melissa rosenberg.

Well It Was Depressing To Me! If I Could Get Past The Fact That It Made Me Sad-I Seriously Felt Like I Was Empty-I Could See The Beauty Of It Too! But Since I Can't. . . :(
