la saga Twilight Question

Who here has read the books, because judging par some people's réponses and questions, it doesn't seem like some people have...

This is an honest question. I'm very curious. The livres were here since 2004. The films were here since 2008. The livres >>>>>>>>>>>> the movies. The livres = the original source. If toi haven't read the livres and have only seen the movies, I urge toi to read the livres :) They are better than the movies. The characters are better developed and not tainted par typical Hollywood. They films aren't exactly portraying the livres properly. And if toi don't usually read? Well, they're a really fast read :) If toi like the films as much as toi do, I'm sure you'll be just as captivated while toi read the livres :)

I really recommend toi read them. I'm sure you'll like them :) Plus, toi get to use your own imagination to how everything looks :) toi get to decide who Bella looks like, ou who Edward looks like (not that Kristen ou Rob aren't doing a great job). toi make the rules, toi take the reigns, toi imagine. :)

So who has read the books? How did toi become a fan? When did toi become a fan? Why are toi a fan?

Amen sista! (sorry, I couldn't help it.) I have been thinking about this for a while now.

I read the livres in August 2008, just after the release of Breaking Dawn. I was only vaguely aware that there was even going to be a movie. I had a friend who was completely obsessed. She talked about it endlessly and I usually just tuned her out. Then I met another friend who liked it, and then a few more. And then when Breaking Dawn released, I went to one of those midnight parties with my friend because it sounded fun. I had a great time, someone even got proposed to, but I didn't really understand what the big deal was. So just a few days after that, I finally decided to give the livres a chance, and I've been hooked ever since. I read non-stop for almost five days, and once I finished them all, I went online to lait the internet for all the info I could get, which is when I really became aware of the movie. I know that when I read the books, the movie was right around the corner, but I was lucky because I still read before the movie craze began. It's tough for me to say why I'm a fan, but it's mostly just because I l’amour these books, and I care about the characters and the story. They were the first livres that drew me in the way they did. They made me happy when times were tough. I just l’amour these books. And yeah, the livres >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the movies. I do l’amour the movies, even though I know they aren't exactly cinematic art, I l’amour them. But the livres are still a million times better, and will always hold a special place in my heart.

I read them a couple months after Breaking Dawn came out. I didn't even know they were going to become movies. I'd fallen in l’amour with the books. I was already a Team Switzerland from the livres and the films won't change that.
Does it bother anyone else how people are team Edward in the livres then the movie makes them like Jacob more?

THANK YOU!!! I have been telling EVERYONE that... People are just so lazy. Theyd rather watch the movie, than sit down and read. Ugh. People are missing out on SO much when they skip the books.
