RobinFan360 why would Slade want to take off Robins mask?

TeenTitan1stFan well...... mabey he does not know exactly who Robin is so he mite want to know so he cant go in a disguise............ok thats the lamest answer ever mabey its just so that robin doesn't take of his mask..........yes that makes more sence!!!!!!!!

surfingcamel I think its because they are so similar in character, and they both are chasing each other, watching each others moves and trying to find out the identity of the latter, and when they do have the chance they both back down at the same time because of dignity and egotism, they are into them selves and want to protect themselves and thus their image/identity as well. :} wevy well done strip, see it tells a story and has character, not easily accomplished I might add.

jetandsonic But you have to pay attention and notice that Robin reached for slades mask first and grabbed it so then Slade grabbed Robins so he would not pull his off. I think...

Lucy64 uhh..Robin doesnt want his mask off to protect his secret identity as Dick Grayson. he needs to hide his identity from a phsyco like slade to protect the ones he loves. not that everyone he loves cant protect themselfs....but yeah, its like the code of the mask. and slade, well, Robins frusterated cuz he cant figure it out, even tho in the comics they all know that Deathstroke is slade wilson.

RequiemVortex Robin wants his mask to stay on to protect his secret identity, which in turn protects those he loves. In a Nightwing storyline (Richard grown up) a villain gives his secret identity to Blockbuster, who stalks Dick and kills everyone he talks to. A girl in the street. A receptionist at a hotel. A few of his colleagues (Dick works as a policeman). In the end they have a massive fight which results in a few tumbles down the stairs and, finally, Tarantula (I HATE her!) shoots Blockbuster in the head. Seriously, it is a very clever strip and I love it! :)

CallmeNightwing To me it's almost as if they are both didn't want to reveal their secret identity. Even though slade is evil, he wouldn't stoop that low. they still had respect for that part , their masks. Robin wouldn't want to be revealed and so does Slade. That's Probably why they didn't take off the mask.

It was another summer in Gravity Falls Oregon, the Mystery Twins, Dipper & Mabel Pines were bored, just then they saw the famous Teen Titans of Jump City & the famous Titans East had came into the Mystery Shack! Suddenly, Dipper & Mabel were too excited to stand ou sit still, they just HAD to get the Titans & Titans East autographs…they walked straight up to them & Dipper yanked on the leader of the Titans on his cape.
the leader turned around, they recognized this ebony haired boy: it was Robin the Boy Wonder! the Titans & him were famous, they had also heard that...

Scarlet saw that Robin was not joking. He may be short but he was being real. He refused to back done. So she wouldn't ethier.
"Hmmm...I'm gonna have to get back to toi on that. I don't think I can betray him." Scarlet a dit with a hint of joking tone. This only made Robin even plus mad than he was.
"If toi know what's good for you, you'll tell me." he a dit in a demanding voice. Scarlet just laughed,"And toi call yourself the good guy!!"
Robin just got closer. "We are. If we weren't then we would have abonded toi on the traintrack where toi fell at. It's the least toi could do!!!"

I woke up and walked down stairs we were all tired of losing these battles beast boy was just slouching on the canapé playing on video games with terra and cyborg, icy was helping starfire sculpt a replica of silkie using her ice powers raven was meditating then starfire turned and a dit "robin we are also tired of the losing to..." Then icy turned and a dit "... Maybe we need new team mates" I a dit "your a genious we'll set it up today ok guys" .... It was around 1:23 when heros and heroines were arriving since we only needed 3 the first one she was silky choclate brown she wore a blsck...
