i groan and sat up on a soft plush bed. "w-where am i?"i said. "thank goodness toi are alive."someone said. "who a dit that?"i said. "i did."Trent a dit before sitting suivant to me on the bed. "you were out cold for 12 hours."he said. i put a hand on my head. "does he know where i`m at?"i asked. "no,i took toi far away from him."he said. "you didn't answer my first question."i said. "oh,you are at my house."he said. i looked around. "okay..but what if he finds me?"i said,tears filling my eyes. "he wont,i promise."he said. i hugged him. "thank you."i said. i broke the embrace and kissed him on the lips. i pulled away 2 minutes later. "sorry,i had to do that."i said. "its cool."he a dit smiling. i got scared again and stood up. "Trent,he's the chief at a police station,h-he will kill toi and me when he finds out toi took me."i a dit walking around the room nervously. "and? what is he gonna do about it if he cant find you?"he said. "i don't know."i a dit sitting in one of his chairs. i started to cry. he walked over to me and hugged me. "its okay,its alright."he a dit talking to me as if i were a child. i just sobbed into him. i heard the door knock,more like bang. "shit,did the cops find me?"he said. he put on some disguise and walked downstairs and opened the door. "WHERE IS SHE?!"a cop screamed. "who?"Trent said. "YOU KNOW WHO,WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE!"the cop screamed again. i walked down the stairs slowly and saw Duncan. i gasped and walked back up the stairs. "oh Gwen,is that toi darling? i have been looking all over for you."Duncan said. "you cant come in."Trent said. "i believe i can,i`m a cop."Duncan said. "well this is MY property! so get off!"Trent yelled. "make me!"Duncan said. huge fight. i heard someone run upstairs. it was Duncan! i ran into Trent's room and locked the door. "GWEN! open this door!"Duncan boomed. "go away!"i said. he was banging against the door trying to get in. then Trent tackled him and the door broke and they both came in. Trent grabbed a blade off his bureau and stuck it in Duncan`s eye. Duncan screamed and pulled the couteau out of his eye and threw it at Trent's leg. "gah!"Trent a dit putting his hand on the couteau and took it out. Duncan stood up and grabbed me. "let me go!"i said. Trent stood at the entrance to the room. "let her go,NOW!"Trent said. "what are toi gonna do? slap me?"Duncan said. Trent cracked his knuckles and charged towards Duncan. i jumped out of the way and Trent tackled Duncan out the window. they both landed on the ground really loud. i looked out the broken window and saw them still fighting. will anything make them stop? i ran outside. Duncan was choking Trent so badly,his face was blue. "stop!"i screamed. Duncan threw Trent at a arbre and started walking towards me. "now that he's out of the picture,what game do toi want to play now?"Duncan said. "fuck you."i a dit in his face. Trent threw a couteau on the ground towards me. i grabbed it and stabbed Duncan`s chest,forehead,neck and cheek. Duncan took the couteau away from me and stabbed me in the neck. i screamed. then Trent threw Duncan off of me and stabbed him deep into the chest. Duncan finally stopped moving,but he was still alive. Trent limped over to me and took my hand and walked to his motorcycle. "get on."Trent said. i sat on his bike and head on tight to Trent and he drove off. Duncan started running after us. "GET BACK HERE!"Duncan yelled. Trent just drove faster. then a red light popped up. "Trent red light!"i said. Trent just kept driving. he drove into a pack of cars and made them crash,but he didn't and drove faster out of the way. i looked back and saw Duncan looking at me. "just toi wait!"he said. i shivered and looked back at the road. "where are we going?"i asked. "anywhere that's not here."he said. i looked at the sign,it said,welcome to Charlottetown. wow,i never knew we drove this much. we were at least 27 miles away from that cruel man. we stopped at this hotel for the night. we walked into our room and it had one bed,oh great. i lied down on the right side of the bed. i didn't hear Trent lied down. i turned around and looked at his red face. "aren't toi going to sleep?"i asked. "yes."he a dit before getting under the covers. i turned to my right side so i was facing him. "so how long are we going to keep running away from him?"i whispered. "maybe until he stops finding us."he said. "that wont ever stop."i said. "don't know yet,maybe he`ll finally just kill himself."he said. "speaking of killing...i-i don't want to die without you."i a dit about to cry. he pulled me close. "don't worry,i`m here to protect you."he said. i just cried for a long time. after i finally got to calm my sobs,i decided to talk again. "Trent..will toi do something for me?"i said.
