Be cause characters lives are changed are changed, because many characters like Sally, Julie-Su, Anthonie, Bunny, Lupe are actually not SEGA (Be careful I a dit SEGA) characters just Archie shit~

Plus I hate all those fights in which people are fighting who will be with Sonic (Amy ou Sally etc.) ou any other character~

Definitely not, The Archie comic series is fully endorsed and supported par Sega so to say many of the characters are not "Sega" defies logic.

Furthermore, What has the game side of sonic donné us in the past few years as far as new characters? Chip? Genies and King Arthur? No the Comic Franchise does complete adaptations of all of the game from the Death Egg saga to the lesser know Sonic labyrinth games,

They did a great job and did not create a whole new universe, yet they expanded on the one that was already there.

Sega Gave the rights to Archie to create Sonic's epic history going forward, and that makes it about as official as toi can get,

I'm not much of a comics fan, but I find some of the characters interesting and may read some of the comics on Youtube if I like the plot summary.

But I prefer the comics original characters over the game characters they use. I dunno there's something about how the portray the game characters sometimes that rubs me the wrong way but I'm not TOO bothered. But toi can either assume it's bad characterisation on Archie's part, ou due to the comics being a different continuity from the games means they decided to take artistic liberties with the game characters (one big example is that they give Mighty super strength even though in Knuckles Chaotix he didn't have any super strength)

Archie makes Sonic really way out of character.I hate the fact that they made the old characters meet the current characters....now the couples are gonna be mixed up and crap.
They made Shadow marry Sally.
They made Fiona and Rouge whores.
They made Sonic not so interested in Amy and the same thing with Knux and Rouge...
They made Mina marry Tails... seems like a aléatoire crack couple...
The series is a meandering, overpopulated mess full of elements that don't work well together. I don't like how loopy some of the characters get with either changing personalities ou violent mood swings. I also don't like the whole "alternate universe" idea, its nice for the world with the evil sally and tails and with scourge, but otherwise its a watered down idea for all other alternate universes. That being said, I do enjoy the art and the comics have a nostalgic feel about them.

1st off, it's Sonic, toi can never have too much of him.

2nd, the charaters. All of our favori charaters are potraied fatefully, no matter how many SEGA make. the original charaters are just as lovealbe. and they breath new life into the charaters SEGA forgot.

But mostly, the story. Even after 200 issues, the story is as compleing as ever. I'd even go so far as to say that Archie should write for SEGA games. I mean, Sonic couleurs was great, but the story was crap.

Most definetly. Rubbish plots(Tails eats pomme and becomes 10?), Rubbish OC(Scourge, the green sonic), Bad personalities for Sega characters(Rouge the biggest b*tch in the world) and nothing plus than a really bad soap opera comic(Sally and Sonic's break-up, WTH!?)

I dont like the comics they just ruin the whole story... Sorry i mean THE REAL story of the franchise. Its not par SEGA, there is like 190 different characters, and the artwork makes the real SEGA characters look like they were drawn par 5 an olds just like the other non-SEGA characters.

It's way plus interesting than the games logic and the characters have great personalities, so NO ;P

She was just called Amy in a manga published in Shogakukan's Shogakukan no Gakushuuzasshi and was written par Kenji Terada and illustrated par Sango Norimoto in 1992. She was the girlfriend of a boy named Nicky Parlouzer who can turn into Sonic the Hedgehog. And if toi say that Sally was in Sonic 01 then your incorrect. No, I don't think it's bullshit at all. Sega DID give them pretty much free reign with this one, it's completely separate from the games, and that whole character change crap is mostly due to Ken Penders, one of the series' former writers. And hey, at 21 years and 256 issues, still going, Archie is doing SOMETHING right!

I wouldn't use the word "Bullshit". I mean, they're nice to read and all, but there are many places in the Archie Comics where I'm thinking "What the hell is this?". One thing is that they've made so many characters too OOC. However, there are a few places where the characters are IC.
I don't like how much big deal they've become either. They've caused fights and debates for nothing.
The Archie Comics are like fanfictions, where the auteur has created his/her own OCs (Like Julie-Su) and then written his/her own story. My Sonic fanfictions are as much real as the Archie Comics - Fake. Sega are only the sponsors of the Archie Comics. It's not theirs. Therefore, it's not "real".
But like I said, I don't mind lire them and they're not bad.
So I have to answer both yes and no on this question.

For my opinion and answer, I say that Archie Sonic comics ou story confuses us with Sega's Sonic's story ou plot line. It destroys the fandom and the story of Sonic himself. To me, Yuji Naka is right. He quitted because of Sega messing around with his own made character Sonic.

To me, I think Archie Sonic should just stop the Sonic comics because, to me, it's just messing every single bit of Sonic out.

To me, I think Sega Sonic should just stick with Sonic's real personality, real background and real life from them so that it would have originality. Plus, Sega Sonic shouldn't be mixed with the western style because he is known as a Japanese character made par a Japanese guy. But, I cannot also agree with the former because they also put Sonic to a nice point level.

Sega Sonic and Archie Sonic both have issues because Sega Sonic is too western and very, VERY corny, not much of his real style of impressing his fans while Archie Sonic is the same though it's VERY complicated because it makes Sonic an asshole. He is so not him because the REAL Sonic is very very care-free with his buddy Tails. The REAL Sonic doesn't have a lover too and treats everyone as his friends.

I prefer to stick with the real, Japanese, original, one and only, Sonic the hedgehog. Cocky, cute, talented, care-free, loyal, and a very awesome friend ready to ruin Eggman's evil plans for the fun.
