In a perfect world, anyone can love. In a perfect world, no one would fight. In a perfect world, a accueil would forever be a home, but now? Now, Noda was no longer in a perfect world, her wrists and ankles are chained to her bedroom floor because she had Lost her temper at the wrong moment, with the wrong the person. And now, it was coming back, quickly.
"Do toi hear me?” Lien-da yelled as her steel-toed boot thudded against Noda's face for the umpteenth time. Don’t lose it, Noda couldn't help herself and struggled to grip her emotions. In a desperate attempt for relief from the searing pain, she lunged but, the chains pulled tight and she collapsed to the floor in defeat. Her body slumped vers l'avant, vers l’avant with her head against the hard floor, she desperately gasped for air through clenched teeth.
Two legionaries grabbed Noda's shoulders and pulled her up so she stared into the icy cold center of her aunt's eyes. “Did toi forget what I've done for you?” Lien-da asked grabbing Noda's bloody face, “I’ve helped you, trained toi to the fullest of your abilities, and suddenly I'm not good enough anymore."
Noda once plus tried to lunge but, the guards held her down. Lien-da laughed and punched Noda in the stomach, then grabbed both sides of her collar, staring at the white crest birthmark across her chest.
"You're just like your Father. Pathetic.” she whispered grinning.
incroyable anger shot through Noda's veins. A field of electric energy exploded from her, melting the chains and sending Lien-da and both legionaries flying. She stood; fist clenched and stared at Lien-da as sparks of lighting flew off her body.
"Don't ever compare me to him.” she growled, “Ever!” as Noda's anger grew so did the field around her and the further Lien-da backed.
"Stoop!” a loud called into the room.
Noda looked to find a young light-purple echidna standing in the doorway. Her anger turned to fear and she froze. Lien-da quickly stood and fled the room, the two legionaries following. Noda tried to leave as well but, the echidna held her shoulder.
"What is your problem?” the echidna questioned.
"Nothing, Dani-Ca.", Noda answered quietly, her head drooping.
Dani-ca studied her young friend's pain-filled eyes, not sure whether to walk away ou help. She touched the cuts across Noda's blood-smudged muzzle, and backed quickly as Noda flinched. Dani-ca sighed, “I’m not here about the...misunderstanding."
Noda's head snapped up. 'Please, don’t go there.'
"I'm here to get a straight answer from you."
Noda backed, shaking her head. 'Please, no.'
Dani-ca grabbed a wet rag out of a bowl on Noda's shelf and sat Noda on the bed. "There has to be a reason your so out of focus."
'I'm plenty focused.'
"Or why you’re screaming in your sleep.”Dani-ca ran the rag over Noda's cheek.
'You’re the one who runs in here every time.'
"Dammit, Noda talk to me!” Dani-ca commanded, but Noda continued to sit silent.
Dani-ca sighed and started cleaning the rest of her muzzle. minutes passed in complete silence, until Noda couldn't take it no more.
"I feel it!"
