Part Four

Rynk had arrived in a different city now. It was less populated then her own, but it was not the population that she interested. She walked across the city’s outskirts, until she had found a still-occupied military base.

“This had better be it.” She a dit to herself. The lynx-girl then walked up to the gates of the base, and asked if she could meet with someone who she could question about certain files.

“Are toi serious?” The man at the gate asked in his booth.

“Well… I was… now I’m slightly less serious, but-“

“You can’t just be handed files like that, Miss…”

Rynk paused for a moment. She couldn’t give them her name, because it wasn’t even a real one. Then she quickly answered “Recoff” as that was the name of the man that she had found the files from.

“… Recoff… says here that he’s a cop.”

“No, I’m not Recoff, the guy who sent me is Recoff. He a dit her wanted me to retrieve some information of the person who chronicled the ‘Hell-Soul-Files’… what are those?”

“… Confidential. Do toi have a permit from Recoff?”

“He told me that toi would take care of everything.”

The guard gave a large sigh then a dit “Wait here. I’ll check with the commander.” He exited the booth, then walked into the base. Rynk waited for a moment, then a dit with a smirk “Yes but he won’t be okay with it, so I think I’ll just let myself in.”

The lynx climbed over the wall, and not the fence as she assumed it was electrically-guarded, then ducked into the booth before the cameras could see her. It was at this point that she realized that she had no plan whatsoever.

“How am I supposed to get in there?” She thought to herself. She searched around the booth for a map, and eventually found one. “… Archives. … room 44. Great! … now I jus- oh crud.” Rynk turned around. The guard was coming back.

She quickly ducked under the desk, and waited until he had come back. He sat down on his wheeled-seat, then scooted forward, directly into Rynk, who let out a small “eep!”

“… What was-“ Rynk interrupted the guard par kicking the siège backwards, then pulling the guard onto the floor, head-first. It took a while to knock him out surprisingly, but she managed.

Rynk looked at the guard’s clothing. It was way too big for her, but she had no other options. She quickly put the uniform over her own clothes, but even with her own clothes on as well, the outfit was too lumpy and large.

She tried to tip-toe upward, in hopes of looking tall enough, but instead… she grew. It wasn’t much, but her legs grew long enough to be the right height.

Rynk fell onto the ground in surprise. “So the goop lets me morph… o…kay.” Half ecstatic, and half grossed out, Rynk put on a guard-helmet, and walked into the base’s inner-sector.

“Not like any military base I’d know… then again I’ve never been in one before.” Rynk thought to herself. The base itself was like a giant circle-hallway, with only two ends. The entrance, and a garden area. When she saw the garden-area, and the Tear-Tree in it, she knew that she was in the right place.

Rynk continued through the many rooms, of which there weren’t that many. Thankfully not many people stared at her strangely, but she still felt unwelcomed, which for her meant “go faster”.

Room-44… Archives. Rynk slipped in quietly, then started searching the cabinets under H. She one file called “Hell-Soul”, but she didn’t know if it was the one she wanted. She didn’t have the time to check. She slipped it in her pocket, then continued through other cabinets.

She began to look through B when she thought of the letter K. K for Kaiya. Rynk dashed to the cabinet; making a small thud, then quickly found quite a bit of files under the name of Kaiya. They weren’t enough to carry back though.

“Hmm…” Rynk looked around till her eyes saw a closet… a locked closet. She took off the uniform-gloves, then slowly stretched her index finger’s claw out, and stuck it into the lock. After a few moments it was open.

Inside were some wiring-supplies, a control box, some briefcases, and a small box. She looked in the box and found some fuses. She found no use for them, but took them anyway, and placed them in her pockets, before stuffing all of the files she had into one of the briefcases.

Rynk then walked out of the room in the most casual manner that she could; carrying the mallette, porte-documents at her side. As she walked down the halls once again, a great many of the units (people) stared at her. “Uh oh.” She thought nervously, with a slight sweat going down her face.

Finally she was at the exit of the inner-base. She began to walk straight out, but the guard at the bureau suivant to her a dit “Hey! toi can’t leave without clearance!”

Rynk froze in fear of what she knew was going to happen. She slowly turned to the side, and handed the guard the ID-card hanging off the uniform. The guard slowly scanned it, then a dit “You don’t have clearance to be transporting any items.”

The guard then motioned for Rynk to step across the room, to an office on the other side. She nervously started walking, with the mallette, porte-documents tightly held in her hand.

She knew what would happen. All that she could change now was how. She thought quickly, then- “OW!” She cried out as she pretended to stub her shoe-protected toe. Rynk jumped up and down with her foot in her hands, then when her knee was bent high up enough, she slammed it onto the ground.

A giant shockwave of vibrations shot everything out of the area, to say nothing about the units who were knocked down ou shot through walls. “WE HAVE AN INTRUDER!!!” The guard at the bureau screamed through his microphone.

“No kidding!!” A unit yelled back as they all started to chase Rynk as she made her escape.

Rynk tripped while running off towards the gate, but quickly broke her fall, and continued on, but the uniform got caught on one of the booth’s corners. The chasers took this to their advantage, and quickly jumped at her, as the ones with pistolets were still inside getting them.

Rynk ducked under, thus freeing herself from the uniform (very glad she kept her clothes underneath on), then swiped a unit’s leg; causing him to fall on another soldier, which gave her a small chance to escape.

The lynx-girl then jumped onto the side of the gate, which was electrically-charged as she thought. Its current shot back at her; forcing her to let go. She almost fell into the clutches of her pursuers, but quickly grabbed on to the roof of the booth, and swung to the haut, retour au début of it.

*pow* A bullet went as an armed-guard shot Rynk in the leg. “Nyeh!” She groaned as she knelt down from the haut, retour au début of the booth. *pow* another went. Thankfully it missed, and Rynk wasn’t about to wait for another one.

With her free hand, Rynk slammed the haut, retour au début of the booth; sending another shock-wave into the air, which reversed the direction of whatever bullets were coming next, and temporarily short-circuit the gate. She then took this very small opportunity to jump on the side of the gate, climb over, then run off as fast as she could. The thing was though that she still had a bullet in her leg, and the soldiers were about to charge through after her.

“Taxi!!!” She screamed. One stopped. “GO GO GO!” She yelled as she jumped in. The Cab-driver slammed the brakes down, and quickly got out of sight of the base.

Once they were far enough away, Rynk colombe out of the taxi with the case, then quickly jumped through a nearby window that was left open.

“What the-“ The man living in the surprisingly clean house exclaimed before Rynk interrupted par knocking him out.

For the suivant heure she waited. This gave her plenty of time to hide the man, and herself. She could hear the military trucks go by. What if they stopped at this house? It wasn’t too far away, and they might have asked someone if she was seen going in there.

Rynk shivered from the thought of that, as she lay underneath the man’s bedroom-bed. The heure did pass however, and she was left unfound.

This was not a complete victory however. She now had to get back to her city without being found. But how would she do that?

Slowly and carefully, Rynk snuck to an alley where she had hidden the Chaos-Goop, and injected herself with another syringe. This gave her a sick feeling, but she could feel the chaos energy growing inside her.

With shaking hands, she spoke out “Chaos Control” and disappeared from the city.

So if you’ve tried “Eyes that Shine” {link
Or if you’ve been in the récent “Mobius Academy: Evolution” rping {link
Then you’ve probably encountered one ou both of my latest characters “Saber, and Halem”.

Here’s some info about the two of em.

Saber and Halem are anti-hero mercenaries-for-hire (redundant I know).

Saber is a black cat, with red and grey hair, EXTREMELY LONG toe-nails, and a flirtatious appeal. Her glowing yellow eyes allow her to mesmerize whomever looks into them, (usually male) and bend them to her will. She loves to tease people, and is all about the chase,...

Chapter four
(Sept 19th Friday)

It was two plus days until the rain had finally stopped. Because of this a fair amount of the school got soaked when one student, whose name was Chad, opened the door to the inside courtyard, and allowed all the built-up water to not only rush into him and soak his clothes, but also a bit of the inside-hallways.

Grace had walked par and found herself surprised not at all to find Rynk sliding in it without a care in the world, ou dimension in this case. The janitor’s blue fourrure changed red that day, and it wasn’t going to go back any time soon.

Thankfully it was...

Chapter three
(Sept 15th Monday)

A particularly rainy jour at the school, The Inner-School courtyard was almost pool-like with how much water it contained. Its lack of drainage-ways caused the intake to be at least three-inches and slowly climbing. It started like this a jour prior, and hadn’t shown any sign of stopping.

Most of the students had decided to stay in bed, pretending to be under the weather, as they did not want to attend the few classes available. However around thirty-percent of the rest of the students were huddled in the bibliothèque that was not attached to the main school, and was...

Take it from me, I'm just a Magilancer who almost destroyed the whole world. When monsters colide with the real world, toi can't rest until everyone and everything is safe. Yes, I have to admit that I didn't exactly keep everyone and everything safe, but atleast I kept everything from blowing up.
Not exactly the normalest jour for me, ou any other wizard. It was gloomy and quiet, the way I liked it. A lot of buildings were broken and qracked. One just happened to have an unbroken mirror and some tape. I walked in through the corridor and broke the mirror. I use the tape and shard of glass to...
