The an of OWLS



“I was a Lost creature once. I wandered aimlessly and acted on purely hunger, and the wishes of others. However I have matured. I have… purpose. I have a responsibility now and I will not fail any of you. Thank you…”


Bursts of energy, pure, blue, and clean, rip from bodies all around your character(s), flying away, leaving the bodies below as empty husks. Your character feels it as well, their stamina, their core, their soul, ripping, tearing, being pulled away. What could be doing this?

Around them, others can be seen struggling to keep themselves from being taken. Slowly your character approaches them. They lock arms, strengthening each other against the vacuum. Others join, and through heure after hour, screaming, with arms breaking, eyes tearing with blood, they endure the event.

It finishes, and your characters collapse; exhausted and unconscious.

“Get… wa-wake… up…” A weak voice calls out. Your character feels themselves being moved, shaken. They slowly, weakly, open their eyes. The survivors sit around them, all of them too weak to stand. Around them lay the corpses of those who were taken. The ground is barren and hot, with no longer any living plant in sight. What caused this?

(Depending on where toi choose for your character is toi can have one of my characters wake them up ou a completely different one.)
