This is my first fanfic, so plz commentaire :)
Hey, it's me, Shade! You'll get to know my history very soon, but I'll start with a particular jour at high school: sports day. I was about sixteen and just a normal girl: I had nice friends, loved to go shopping, knew some pretty good places in town to go for a drink, etc... I still do, but... it has changed, in a certain way. So, it was sports day, and I was like:
"Meh, sports day."
It would be boring, like every year, only football, hockey and tennis, toi know. I went to school because I had to, otherwise I would've stayed home. I walked up to my friends, and it was just like normal:
"Hey, wazzup?"
Everyone greets, everyone talks about how boring sports jour is gonna be... But then, our PE teacher stood up and said:
"This sports jour will be different than the others before: we will have a race..."
We sighed. Like every year... What's the change about that?
"...and we will be racing against another school!"
We looked up. That certainly was new!
He continued: "When we win, we'll get a 7-days trip to... A surprise! But when they win, they'll get the trip. So what are we gonna do?"
We all yelled: "Win!!"
Our school arrived at the sports field, and the other school was already there. They didn't look super athletic ou something, but still, toi never know. All the PE teachers gave the sign:
"Let the race begin!"
We were racing like this: one from our school and one from the other school. And, I can say, we were just look-a-likes! First, our school won a race, then the other, then ours, etc. And of course I was last. Why the hell was I last? If I won, our school would win the trip. If the other won, their school would win the trip. No, no, no pressure at all... So I stood there, almost shaking, because suivant to me, was one of the tallest guys I've ever met. And I am one of the smallest in my class. Not fair. But, I couldn't do anything about it, because everyone had to race. Oh god. Why didn't I stay at accueil when I had the chance... Suddenly, I saw the referee raising the flags. I was ready to start, he let the flags fall, and *Poof*, we were gone. That guy was fast! I tried my best, because I wasn't going to lose without any struggle. I saw him getting further and further away... I wasn't going to let him win, and I a dit to myself:
"You can do it, toi can win!"
I looked up, and before I even noticed, I won. I swear, I could hear the crickets.
