Scotty McCreery will release his much-anticipated debut album, Clear As Day, on Oct. 4.

He released the news exclusively to fans via email on Thursday and it was announced nationwide earlier today on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” where he performed. He is featured on the American Idols Live! Tour that runs through September and stops in Atlantic City, N.J., on Saturday, Aug. 13.

How do toi amp yourself up to perform every night?

“It's definitely the feeling of knowing it's a different crowd every night. toi try to get the best reaction from them and it's just a lot of fun to go out there and sing for them. We're playing in arenas which is a big step up from the coffee shops I'm used to playing at home. It's definitely a lot of fun.”

Scotty's CD is going to be released before Thanksgiving!!

In a récent interview with Raleigh, NC's News & Observer, Scotty McCreery reveals that his debut album will be released in stores before Thanksgiving! He goes on to say that 9 ou 10 songs have been completed already, but they are still in the process of recording in the studio despite the fact that this year's 'American Idol' winner has been on tour with the rest of the show's haut, retour au début 11.

In this album, Scotty has mentioned in précédant interviews that there's "different vibes on each song". He also a dit that "We're trying not to make it all ballad-y ou up-tempos. We're getting a good mix of everything in there. It's got a good ol' country feeling on some songs, and it's got a contemporary feel on some songs. It's kind of shwoing what toi saw me do all season on Idol. We're trying to find the right mix between the two."
