Just because someone is homophobic, doesn't mean that they automatically hate them. Do you know what phobia means? It means FEAR.... which means, some people may actually be terrified of gay people. Is it wrong to be scared? No, fear is a human quality, but too much fear is unnecessary. It's really unfair to assume something like that. Also, calling someone a c*nt is childish, and it won't help the gap between gays and straights. You can take this as my advice, or don't. Just thought I would kindly speak my thoughts.
I personally don't hate anyone--or at least try not to.
Ultimately, I chose "no" because I'm not going to hate an entire person or group of potential people because of one thing, regardless of what that group of people is or does.
"Homophobia" is a very vague description. There are those who disagree with homosexuality and leave it at that, then there are those who use that disagreement to discriminate against and harm others.
I don't necessarily hate people who are labelled as "homophobic", especially when they do nothing with that opinion to harm others. People can have their opinions regardless of what they are, and I have no more right to change their opinion than they have the right to infringe on mine.
If someone disagrees with homosexuality for whatever reason, then that's their choice. I won't hate them for it- it's there life.
Now, if someone does something with that disagreement to cause a problem or infringe on the lives of gay people, then that is a problem. If someone picks on someone for their sexual orientation, or refuses to hire someone because of their sexual orientation, or kills them because of their sexual orientation, then that's definitely a problem, and I hate that. People shouldn't do that. But that's a whole different issue than simply disagreeing with homosexuality.
So, in short, I don't hate people who merely disagree with homosexuality, but I do hate when people use a disagreement with homosexuality to infringe on someone else's personal life.
