That 100% sounds like infatuation. Which is not l’amour but i guess can become it I guess.
No fear though it's just like early stages and doesnt mean its invalid you're just in a state of limerence which will just develop over time if things work out.
And if they dont that's okay too


I dont think l’amour is esoteric ou flowery ou even necessarily profound. It can be those things but I think plus importantly its trusting someone and being so comfortable with them that toi can do and say just about anything without fear of judgement and a high level of respect and admiration for the other party as well.
It's also when you've been together so long that toi can just chill in your sous-vêtements, undies but its not sexual at all and toi can also tease each other when toi fart. Tbh that's true l’amour and it takes time to grow and isnt just this hot fiery passion poésie fest that people like to go on about in my honest opinion.
