What kind of a new video format would to substitute a BD (Bluray Disc) once it becomes obsolete?

There is already a BD recorder available for superior video & audio quality recording, both in Full HD & 5.1 surround yet only on a single-sided disc. What would come suivant nobody knows for sure, perhaps the enhanced double-sided BD ou improved HDD,who knows?

I don't know, probably something that encompasses UHD (4K) and has 7.2 surround sound, ou something like that. I don't really care beyond that, because everything is already pretty damn good. Not sure that we should be wasting plus resources on stuff like that, but I guess that's just how it is.

ou perhaps a new standardised USB memory would to replace all the discs currently in use, both DVD&BD.It's already used worldwide for data storage on computers. It offers a quality recording&reproduction+it's much smaller in (pocket)size than all the discs.

Maybe. It's hard to say. The rate that technology evolves is crazy.
