What does /V/ mean?

So I was at a con and I bought a mystery bag from an artist and inside where a bunch of little pins, on one of them was /v/ and I can't figure out if that's supposed to mean something ou if it's like an emoji ou what. Anyone have any ideas? If this helps everything else in the bag was stuff from pokemon, Sailor Moon, and Dragonball but I have no clue what this is.
