Well not exactly, my mother died only around a jour il y a and she was the only person I had to watch over me and my siblings. But as of right now I'm living with my aunt and uncle...I guess that's where I'm gonna be living for the rest of my life anyways. :/
Technically, I'm American. However, I'm growing plus and plus ashamed of this part of my heritage.
My ancestors came from 4 places.
The first from England. Grandfather's side. My oldest traced ancestor was a knight in the 1300's. My family was on the Mayflower, and also another ship: See the Tempest. That story was based on them. So I am an American through and through. Been here since 1610. The other Swedish, German and Scottish aren't so exciting so I'm skipping them.

Because the English have never done anything to be ashamed of....
I'm German/British/Slovak/Irish/Hebrew and something else that I can't remember... But I'm 100% American.
My paternal great-great-great-great-great-grandfather was in the Revolution. His name was Matthias. Reminds me of Redwall... Anyway most of the men in my family have served in the U.S. military. I'll be the first girl to go into the military.

Born in Canada but my background's Asian. My mom was born in Vietnam, my dad in Cambodia. 3/4 of my grandparents come from China and the other in Vietnam, I think.

I know where Trinidad is! Years back, I volunteered at our local hospital, and one of the women who pretty much ran the place was from Trinidad. I loved her accent; I'm sure she got sick of my saying that. But lucky for me and my friend, she enjoyed our company, and she was happy to share stories about her country.
I'm white/Caucasian. Though in my blood I'm Irish, Russian, German, Austrian and Scottish. I've always wondered if English is part of me as well since I have a great grandmother from Britain but no one's mentioned that to me. But I'm mostly an Irish decent, that's where my last name came from. My entire background on my dad's side is from Ireland.
Race: White and black (proudly biracial!) :) Ethnicities: On the white side: Welsh, Scottish, Norwegian, Finnish, German-Russian. On the black side: Don't know. Slaveowners didn't exactly keep the best records of their slaves' ethnicities. Nationality: American
toi are Romanian~ that is cool! :) I do find these things interesting in private convos but I have come to resent being "asked" -on paperwork I have to fill out, I have started to boycott. I find it offensive and insulting/ I do not like being a "demographic" to be surveyed and a statistic when so many people are not listed on their liste and cannot be due to mixtures. It is just ridiculous! I know that was not the intent of YOUR question... nevertheless, I don't answer. If someone really wants to know they can dig around on fp and find out.
