Is Paranormal Activity 2 worth watching?

I saw the first movie and thought it was epically scary and thought that they needed to make a sequel. So they came out with one but I was only allowed to go to the theaters with my dad since he's older than 17 but my dad would only take me if I was going with a friend since he thought it was lame THEN my friend bailed on me because she was scared so...I want to know is it worth it when it comes out on dvd?

the ambience would be so much different when toi watch it on dvd. paranormal activty 1 has got different ending between on a dvd and on movie. paranormal activity 2 is it's a prequel. i suggest toi to watch on movie like i did. :p
