A baby boy was born in Nevada on April 5, 1775. Even though he was born in Nevada, he was NOT an American, and nither were his parents, who were also born there. So, how is it possible to be born in America, and not be American.

If I'm not mistaken, Nevada wasn't a state back then. I'm not even positive it was a territory. So that's how he wasn't an American. Nevada wasn't actually part of America.

I guess that's really close to the answer. The real answer was that America wasn't even created yet, he was born a an before the birth of America.
