Do toi sometimes wish the bad guy would beat the good guy?

Like in films and books, that kind of stuff?

Because people already like the good guys, and if the bad guys were ugly almost nobody would like them.

In Twilight I wish James would have killed Bella. James was hot and did not need to die. As for TV bad guys, I do have two favorites, but one I was happy to see killed par the good guy's mentor and the other well I hope he eventually gets murdered par the god guy.

Hercules was such a girly-guy. lol) and Basta from the “Inkheart” livres was awesome, although he was the archenemy of my buddy, Dustfinger (see the username? lol). And does Jack Sparrow count as a bad guy? Cuz of course I wanted him to win. :D
But most of the time, no matter how cool the villain is (like the White Witch in “Narnia”), I still root for the good guys.
