Chapter 1: Schemes and Possesions

Seven years later...

"Private..."the vision called out. Private turned around to see nothing. "Private, I'm over here."the vision called out. Private took a step forward. "No over here."the vision said. Private turned around to see Henry who was 77. "Who are you?"Private fearfully asked. "I am your ascendant. I have to tell toi that the time has come."Henry said. "For what?"Private fearfully asked. "To pick the chosen one of course. Tomorrow, your Uncle Nigel will be coming for something. Your eleventh birthday is today. Right?"Henry asked. Private fearfully nodded. "I guess toi are old enough to handle the prize possesion. But I must warn you. Someone close to toi will be picked as the chosen one par mistake. I will send toi another dream to warn you."And with that, Henry disappeared. "Wait!"Private exclaimed. "What do toi mean?"

"You'll know when the time comes. Now wake up."Henry said.

Private woke up. He wished to tell Skipper but couldn't. He just wanted to keep it as a secret yet he has so many questions. What did he mean? he thought. Just then, Private walked up to the bathroom to wash his face. Just then, the others woke up to prepare for the surprise brithday party. What do toi mean Henry? he thought. He did not even understand. But he knew that it was important. Quickly, he got a notepad and a pencil and noted down everything that happened in that dream. That dream that was quite mysterious. Odd. Dream. That's all he knew. Private was quite confused indeed. But what did he mean par chosen one? That's what Private wanted to know. As he came out, he was surprised.

"Surprise!"they said. Private just ran to his oreiller and secretly hid the paper and the pencil. "Where were you?"Skipper asked. "Uh, in the bathroom, washing my face and figuring out a secret. I just can't tell toi Skippah."Private said. The others were quite confused. Until Uncel Nigel came out. "Hey nephew!"Uncle Nigel exclaimed. "Err...we may need some privacy around here."And with that, the penguins climbed up to the topside leaving Uncle Nigel and Private alone. "Why the long face?'Uncle Nigel asked. "It's just that, well, I had a dream last night with this mysterious guy and he a dit that I'm the chosen one ou something. I don't quite understand but I had so many questions."Private said. "Ah! But with that, I have a surprise for you."Uncle Nigel said. Private carefully opened it. It was a bow and thirty-two arrows. "That's the family's prized possesion. It was first used par your ascendant Henry.'Uncle Nigel said. "That must be the guy in my dream lately."Private said. "Yes. This is a sign."Uncle Nigel said. "A sign of what?"Private asked. "A sign that toi will make the propehecy come true."Uncle Nigel said. "What is the prophecy that toi mean, Uncle?"Private asked. Uncle Nigel stood up. "You'll find out. Keep it in somewhere no one is suppose to find."Uncle Nigel said. He climbed up the fishbowl and walked away.

Private, on the other hand hid in a tunnel to the right inside the plaque. No one even knew it. Not even Skipper. He typed a password, hid it under a small mattress and went out. After a moment, the others went in to have some cake. Well, until the lemurs and Marlene interrupted. And so did the other animals. Then, Phoebe joined in along with Private's trusty coursier, steed Nutty the horse. It went on and on until 10:00. Then, another dream came to him.

"Private."Henry said. "You again?"Private asked. "Yes. I must tell toi something. Tomorrow is finally the jour that Messenger Xai Lang will send a scroll to the chosen one. It should have been toi but like I warned the dream before this, someone REALLY close to toi will be mistakenly picked. When the time comes that people are mistakenly to be thought something that's not true, call out your close friend along with your trusty steed. You'll have to waait."Henry said. And with that, he vanished. Now, Private only understood a bit. Something about someone close to him. But who?

"Time for my new scheme."the dark voice said. The lobsters were working on a new scheme. The greatest one of all that will put everyone in danger. "Time to fail peng-oo-ins."he a dit with an evil grin. Soon, he laughed.
