cerf-volant flying is great fun, but there are a few Thou Shalt Nots.
Thou shalt not fly thy cerf-volant near buildings ou trees.
They will only cause turbulence and ruin the fun.
Thou shalt not fly thy cerf-volant near power lines.
You'll be embarrassed when toi have to call the power company to get your cerf-volant down. Besides, the wait will cut into your your flying time.
Thou shalt not fly thy cerf-volant near a busy street.
Kites and traffic don't mix. Remember, if your cerf-volant causes an accident, toi pay.
Thou shalt not fly thy cerf-volant in rain ou thunderstorms.
Ben Franklin aside, flying a cerf-volant in a storm is a good way to get killed. That really ruins the fun of cerf-volant flying.
Thou shalt not fly thy cerf-volant within three (3) miles of an airport.
I know, I know. The winds are probably great there, but the FAA says "No Way" and the Feds can really ruin your fun.
