This is a quick little story based on what I would have wanted to happen AFTER ‘Remorse.’ If toi haven’t seen ‘Remorse.’ yet I wouldn’t recommend lire this…unless toi like to be spoiled…:DDD Enjoy:)))
He felt like shit. It was bad enough he cut the last and only copy of a picture her father took but when going to apologize…he shuddered at the memory of the two. He’s seen them together a couple of times now but it still gets to him. Time after time he’s told himself to get over it. To get over her…but nothing seems to help. Wilson’s words seemed to hit accueil with him as well. She was probably still really hurt. If he didn’t apologize she would stay hurt and seeing as he was done with hurting people and leaving them hanging he just had to apologize.
On the way out he grabbed his keys to his bike and drove off towards Cuddy’s place. After arriving he just turned off his motorcycle and sat there until is got a little cold and stupid. first nock. No answer. seconde nock. “Got it, hun!” House sighed and lowered his head and thought about leaving before Lucas could open the door but knew he had to see Cuddy. “Hey House.” Lucas and House just stood face to face for a while until Cuddy asked who it was and came to the door as well. Both men stared at her and then stared at each other…the mood had changed. it was like two male lions fighting over a female lioness. The death stares began and the tension was high.
“Boys!” Cuddy snapped, turning their attention towards her. She gave Lucas a look and then turned her attention towards House. “What brings toi here?” “Yeah…What brings toi here?” Lucas mocked, earning a hard jab in the ribs. “Uh actually…I came to speak with Cuddy…” House scratched his head and fumbled with his cane. Cuddy knew that if something made House shy it was important. “Lucas. Can toi finish cleaning up in the kitchen? I’ll be right there.” Lucas didn’t say anything but continued staring down House before leaving.
“God toi two can be children.” She a dit before signaling for House to come in. “He started it.” Cuddy just chuckled and shook her head while sitting on the canapé and waiting for House to talk. He paced a little in front of her and then rubbed his temples. “Hou-” “I’m sorry.” He cut her off quickly and just blurted it out. Cuddy looked at him questioningly. “…for cutting your picture.” She tensed a little and her cœur, coeur rate increased. “I didn’t know how and why it was important to toi but that’s still no excuse. I shouldn’t have done it…Your relationship with Lucas is none of my business anyways.” He felt so relieved but now wanted to run. He was afraid of her reaction to his…non Housian ways.
There was a moment of awkward silence and then a little sob. House looked up to find Cuddy crying. “…” House wanted to apologize for making her cry as well but before he could say anything she was standing in front of him. “…Do toi know how long I’ve waited for a REAL face-to-face apology from you, House? About 15 years. And now that I finally got one…” She choked up. “Great. I’m glad toi can finally die in peace. Can I leave?” The sarcastic cul, ass shone through again. Cuddy wasn’t angry, instead she smiled genuinely and did the least expected. Hugged. Him. House was caught off guard but soon hugged back.
“Eh hem.” Lucas stood in the doorway to the living room looking at them as they both let go and stepped back quickly. As if they had been caught doing something wrong. “L-Lucas.” Cuddy stuttered. “C-Cuddy.” House smiled and silently wished Lucas luck. The way he was mocking her, oh he would hear from her tonight. “…well goodnight.” House a dit as he started letting himself out. When he passed Lucas their shoulders met and he stopped. It was like form a movie as House and Lucas turned their heads to look at each other. Stare down. Cuddy rolled her eyes at them. “Goodnight House.” She pushed him out the door and closed it.
When House was outside he heard Cuddy bitching at Lucas. “Lucas! What is wrong with you?! Why can’t toi control yourself in front of House?!” Cuddy sounded pretty pissed. “Well…” “No! I know exactly why!” House chuckled to himself. “It’s because your jealous! toi think I like House still!” What?! Pause. Rewind. Still?! Did she just say ‘still’?! House’s eyes grew big and he left with a grin on his face. Meanwhile Lucas slept on the lumpy old canapé while Cuddy slept peacefully, alone, in her bedroom. Lucas lay awake thinking of how his and Cuddy’s relationship was on the verge of ending. For the 3 it had been one hell of a night.

I just read that in the Season 6 finale of House, that a French actor will play House's SON!!! Why oh why I ask must the writers continue to crush the Huddy shipper! First Cuddy/Lucas and a happy family with baby Rachel and now this!! I mean a son? Where the hell did he come from? I guess House's days of sleeping with hookers finally caught up with him. This confirms my worst fears that there is no hope EVER for a Huddy baby. I don't know if the spoiler is a confirmed one ou not, but GY had no commentaire when asked if this was true.
