House: toi should go home.
Cuddy: I told you, I have work—
House: And I’m telling you, that toi shouldn’t be making stupid mistakes you’ll regret later.
(House gave a longing look at Cuddy before getting up to leave.)
Cuddy: House.
(House’s hand was on the door handle, when he turned back to face Cuddy.)
Cuddy: Don’t leave.
(House turned and faced the door, then shut the blinds.)
---
Cuddy: Why did toi shut the blinds? I thought—
House: toi thought that I would; stay, we’d hug, maybe make-out?
(Cuddy was thrown, and suddenly came back to reality with a bump.)
Cuddy: Erm—No.
(House noticed Cuddy’s awkward body language, as she sat back at her desk.)
House: Cuddy.
(Cuddy’s face was sad, and ignored House.)
(House’s face became weary, so he softened his voice.)
House: Lisa.
(Cuddy looked up at his face, standing just opposite her.)
House: Maybe I could give toi a ride-
Cuddy: No, thank toi for offering. I’m okay.
House: You’re obviously not okay.
(Cuddy held back her emotions, and looked House straight in the eye.)
Cuddy: House, don’t toy with me. I appreciate what you’re doing, but-
(Cuddy looked away, hesitantly.)
Cuddy: I have this, wonderful bundle of joy House. Her feelings come before mine now.
(House and Cuddy stood just an inch from each other, the sexual tension between them was magnetic—but they were both too stubborn for their own good.)
Cuddy: I want to, but I don’t think I’m ready to go all in yet.
House: I’m surprisingly good at waiting.
(Cuddy laughed softly, and looked House up and down flirtatiously)
Cuddy: I know.
(House smiled for a second, before his eyes caressed Cuddy’s face gently as he pulled her in close. House lifted Cuddy off of her tip-toes as they shared one last passionate kiss, with Cuddy’s hands grasping at House’s face lightly. Then House gracefully placed her back down to Earth.)
House: I can’t think of anything to say after that.
Cuddy: Me neither.
(They smiled one last time at each other, before their faces went back to normal, their guards raised once more. House turned around and left, whilst Cuddy sat back down at her desk, and looked at the photo of her and Rachel, smiling.)

When does l’amour become something we need, rather than something we want? l’amour was seen as something special a long time ago. Now l’amour is what we are expected to have with us everyday of our lives. l’amour is common currency when toi are a teenager, but turns to worthless pennies the older toi get. Do we not care about the substance of what l’amour was and not what it has been made into today par commercialisation from American films and télévision commercials and soap operas? Only when we experience l’amour for real, can we commentaire and judge others who are in Love. l’amour means something different to everyone. Not two people’s feeling of l’amour is the same. Why do we generalize, rationalize and compartmentalize Love? l’amour is and will continue to be an enigma. Only a handful of people will ever unlock it and witness its true beauty and essence. The essence we all crave.
Love.
Love.
