Have toi ever wanted to roleplay as an Hetalia character, ou write a fanfiction, but toi just felt like toi couldn't "capture" the personality of a character? ou do toi just want to learn a little bit plus about the characters? Well then, read on to find out plus about the characters!

I hope this will help people that are stuck on character portrayal, because believe it ou not, that's one of the hardest parts in roleplaying and fanfictions. I'm going to take each character, one par one, and write about their personalities. I'll do my best to make them short and to the point, yet informational. Well, let's get started!

America.
America is a dit to be loud most of the time, and very energetic. He is occasionally nosy, and he is quite young in human age compared to most of the characters (19 years old), and can act a little childish at times. He is obsessed with freedom and justice. However, at times when he is calm ou serious, he can be very logical.

England.
England is sarcastic most of the time, and somewhat pessimistic. He is stubborn and strong-willed, and is prone to using foul language. His many interests include embroidery, craftsmanship, literature, and rock music. When drunk, he is a dit to become very nostalgic.

France.
France is very proud of his art and culture, to the point where he is too stubborn to learn languages other than his own. He is very affectionate and an excellent chef. He strongly believes in love. However, he also believes that l’amour is something that should not be forced upon others. France is very passionate and claims that "be gentle to the ladies and be gentle to the earth" is his motto.

Russia.
Russia is a dit to have a simplistic and easygoing personality. He is quick to forgive and shy and unsociable around people he doesn't consider friends. He is described as gentle and naive, although capable of being cruel-minded. He is considered scary par most, but is not aware that he is capable of being cruel-minded at times.

China.
China is very superstitious, and he tries to act as an older brother to other Asian countries. He loves nourriture and hates to lose. He is global, ensemble a cheerful character, but can sometimes be easily annoyed ou prone to snapping. He tends to have a fondness for cute things.

Japan.
Japon is mysterious, quiet, and hard-working. He is a dit to be shy and not very informed about the outside world. As a result, he needs time to adjust to other people. Japon loves animals, and it is very hard to make him angry.

Italy.
Italy is very energetic and friendly, but somewhat clumsy. He's a very good artist and a good cook. He can be a bit of a flirt sometimes; he likes pretty ladies. He enjoys having fun, and his hobbies include daydreaming, painting, and singing. He can be Rebelle and hardworking when he puts his mind to it, but prefers not to.

Germany.
Germany likes everything neat and orderly. He always abides par the rules and has lack of experience when it comes to relationships. He is shown to be very awkward when talking to women. Germany is somewhat pessimistic and stubborn.

Romano.
Romano is kind toward women, but is unfriendly toward most men. He is jealous of Veneziano, and has an inferiority complex. He is stubborn and tends to curse a lot. He doesn't like doing chores ou other work.

Spain.
Spain is usually cheerful, easygoing, and friendly. He is optimistic and passionate. Spain always means well, but sometimes comes off as insensitive and clueless. He is very fond of and loves being with children. He is often very chatty.

Prussia.
Prussia has an arrogant attitude, and claims that he enjoys being alone, although he actually does like being surrounded par people. He is often shown to be lazy, but is actually very punctual and never late for anything. He is somewhat fond of cute things.

Canada.
Canada is calm, sensitive, and hates fighting. However, he is a dit to be a good fighter when he has to. He's a good tactician and hates it when he's confused with his brother. He is nice most of the time, but was once able to reduce America to tears par pointing out all of his flaws for over 3 hours straight.

Austria.
Austria gives higher priorities to his hobbies rather than his work. He is not an outdoors person, and dislikes marine animals. He has no sense of direction and is very easygoing. He is also camera-shy. Austria walks rather slow and has a sweet tooth.

Hungary.
Hungary is very tomboyish, defiant, and stubborn. She is a dit to be a reliable older sister type, but can be the complete opposite toward people she dislikes. Hungary is also not afraid to montrer her feminine side, and enjoys to wear dresses. She loves to ride horses.

Estonia.
Estonia excels in studies, and is skilled when it comes to technology, and is rather fond of computers and other technology. He is considered lucky, because he has managed to avoid problems due to his quick wit. He plays piano.

Latvia.
Latvia cries often, due to the fact that he has experienced many unfortunate events in life at a young age. He enjoys lire poésie and romance novels. Despite his young age, he says that he drinks lots of alcohol, up to 40 cups at best.

Lithuania.
Lithuania winds up being easy to take advantage of. Once he gets to know a person well, he'll be a good friend toward them. He's interested in martial arts and literature. He's a born worrier. Whenever Lithuania is at war, he becomes aggressive and it is a dit that it's hard to beat him.

Poland.
Poland is very talkative, but is shy toward strangers and shows anxiety. He is mostly cheerful and somewhat forceful with his opinions. He doesn't care of what other people think of him, and does as he wishes.

Denmark.
Denmark is humorous, stubborn, and somewhat bossy. He declares himself to be heavy drinker. He can be controlling and demanding at times, and can act somewhat childish. He is very enthusiastic and energetic.

Norway.
Norway is a man of few words and expressions. He is mysterious and extremely shy around strangers. He is often very quiet, even around people he knows. He is not a very social person, and can be somewhat sarcastic at times.

Iceland.
Iceland seems cool and composed on the outside, but is actually plus passionate and warmer on the inside. He's very modest and seems to be rather short-tempered when it comes to Mr. Puffin.

Sweden.
Sweden is strong, silent, and difficult to understand. Deep down, he is actually quite playful, but due to the fact that people are intimidated par him, this side is rarely shown. He takes interest in arguments and debates.

Finland.
Finland is simplistic, gentle, and honest. He tends to worry occasionally, and is very talkative. He takes interest in interesting and unusual festivals, and is very friendly toward others.

Switzerland.
Switzerland hates outsiders and is very frugal, hating to waste even a cent of money. He is shown to be very hot-tempered, but has a soft spot for his sister and is very protective of her.

Liechtenstein.
Liechtenstein is humble, mature, and level-headed. She speaks rather formally, and is very polite to everyone she meets. She is social and has many friends. She looks up to her big brother and admires him.

Belarus.
Belarus has a strong cœur, coeur and will. She is a good fortune teller and she is able to see ghosts. She spaces out often and is seen par others as intimidating. She admires her older brother and wishes to be like him one day.

Ukraine.
Ukraine is shown to be warm-hearted and motherly. She has a big cœur, coeur and is very generous. However, she can also be "fearsome" older sister at times and can stand her ground.

Seychelles.
Seychelles has a big cœur, coeur and can sometimes be sloppy. Her hobbies are singing, dancing, and making souvenirs. She sometimes lacks self-confidence and doubts herself. She cannot cook on her own.

Sealand.
Sealand is often quite a troublemaker and a big dreamer. He is very enthusiastic and bubbly, and sometimes quite childish. He claims to find historical facts boring, and likes cartoons.

Greece.
Greece is carefree and casual. He likes to nap and has an interest in history and philosophy. He loves nature, animals, and relaxing. He has a very easygoing nature.

Turkey.
Turkey is lively and very enthusiastic. He is friendly yet very competitive, and is somewhat stubborn and nosy. He always seeks for new things and fashion, trying to stay in style. He loves entertaining tourists and has a sweet tooth.
