Example: Itabby, Italy. They sound similar. ^_^

I don't think it matters... well i am not expert on chats so i wouldn't know sorry XD(i have no idea what breed the Nekotalia chats are..maybe they are just made up chats with no breed XD)

I don't believe so. It depends. In a case where it correlates, the Nekotalia version of England is stated to be a Scottish Fold. However, the Nekotalia version of France is stated to be a Persian, in which case it does not correlate.

And tink about apperances. Americat has a piece of fourrure sticking up and glasses. Itabby has his curl. Try basing it off your characters apperance

I'm making a OC Cat of my OC Haiti it will be a cat with freckles and a little crown and it will be a little fluffy cat but its not super fluffy X3
