Harry Potter has a story 2 and it's better. Okay. I know what toi are all thinking. Oh no not another Harry Potter vs. Twilight article but yes I am making one because I can. I just want my opinion to be heard. So first off let me liste the reasons why children, teens and adults can l’amour Harry Potter and the good messages that Harry Potter gets across. Harry Potter first of all teaches people about the very special bond between people called friendship. Harry, Hermione and Ron are a perfect example of friendship. They are all with Harry until the very end like they promised. They risk their lives for each other and even though they fight,...

Okay, firstly, I’ve no intention of hurting the Twilight fans here. I’m just a fiercely opinionated person, and some of the things I say might end up sounding rude. So please keep in mind that I really don’t mean anything rude that I might say in the article. Read on :)

Many people say that Twilight is well written. When I ask the a dit people why they think so, most of them invariably refer to the “big words” in Twilight.
Now, if using big words makes a book good, an ape with a thesaurus can write a completely fabulous novel. Sadly, this isn’t the case: the poor apes are doomed for...

First off, one of my best Friends refuses to read Harry Potter because it's a fantasy. toi probably a dit the exact same thing. I did too.

Just to clear this up, I'm going to explain this for you. All 7 livres plus ou less have the same goal in mind. Harry's parents were murdered par Voldemort in Godric's Hollow when Harry was 1. Until the age of 11, he believed it was only a car crash. He had no idea that he was famous for the supposed "death" of Voldemort. That is, until Hagrid comes to tell him that he is indeed a wizard.

In his first year, the main plot, plus ou less, is about Harry trying...

Okay, so i was getting pretty sick of answering so many questions about the same thing, and im sure others are/were too, so i just thought that it would be better for everyone to add their opinion to this thing, cos i guess it just makes life easier, and because toi can get LOADS of replies/answers on this. So yeah, enjoy.

My Answer:
In my opinion, Harry Potter is better, and i prefer it plus than Twilight, because i feel as if i can relate to the characters more. Also, i feel as if Twilight doesn't really have a plot, compared to Harry Potter. (There is more, but i cba to write anymore atm, haha)
I'll admit, I have a pretty diverse bookshelf. I have the Harry Potter Complete Series box set suivant to my Twilight books. People who burn/flame either book are either A. extraordinarily biased ou B. have a legitimate reason and may actually have something intelligent to say. To find out what people thought, I decided to ask people who surrounded me at school what their opinions were. If you're interested, read on...

I took a survey of my fellow female students to see what they thought at my middle school (what possessed me to do so, I cannot say), and many of the réponses I heard were something...

-harry’s hormones went overdrive when he saw this spankin’ hot qurl from the ravenclaw quidditch team.

-being the teenage boy he is, he didn’t make a déplacer until it was the yule ball and it turns out that this d00d cedric asked her out.

-then this d00d died and cho was all “bawwww cedric” but somehow she managed to get over all that because of harry’s eternal glory the strategically placed mistletoe. so they kissed.

-then they dated on valentine’s jour in hogsmeade and cho wanted to be all “baww cedric” in front of harry. but harry, being the hormone-driven infatuated teenager he is, was all ears.

-then it ended when harry a dit he was meeting hermione, because apparently cho’s the only one allowed to talk about someone else in their relationship.

I, SpeedyGonzalez did NOT write this. I just merely copyed and pasted it.

Ah, yes, Stephenie Meyer, auteur of the Twilight series. My opinion of her, from the way that she has presented herself to the public in interviews and such, is that she is a whiny, self absorbed woman with the mind of a 13 an old. She can't deal with criticism because it hurts her delicate little feelings, and believes that she is an amazing writer and that her story and characters are somehow superior to those seen in the works of people such as Jane Austen and William Shakespeare. Here's one statement that shows that...

So Harry Potter is MUCH better than some stupid book about wimpy girls and sparkly fairies. First off:
ALL the Twilight people are UGLY! I mean seriously, Taylor Lautners muscles are gross and he has ugly man-boobs. He looks like a creep on steroids. and Robert Pattison looks like a bum, and Kristen looks like a drug aggict as Bella. I mean, EW! Who wants to watch a movie with eyesores like them? Harry Potter is WAY better, I mean we have HOT guys, and the girls aren't half bad either! I mean. we have Lucius, Draco, Sirius, and Snape to say the LEAST! Plus like a zillion other eye-candy dudes!...

1. It has better writing.
2. It's plotline is better.
3. I'd rather read a book about a teenage boy going to a wizardry school and fighting a dark sorceror than one about a ditzy girl who's way too obsessed with her sparkly boyfriend.
4. The characters are plus relateable.
5. J.K. Rowling is not afraid to kill off plenty of good guys.
6. Most of the characters' educations actually matter to them.
7. It doesn't have thousands of rabid fangirls.
8. The characters are plus three-dimensional.
9. It stays true to mythology.
10. It has plus types of l’amour in it, not just romantic and sexual l’amour (or should...
