I'll admit, I have a pretty diverse bookshelf. I have the Harry Potter Complete Series box set suivant to my Twilight books. People who burn/flame either book are either A. extraordinarily biased ou B. have a legitimate reason and may actually have something intelligent to say. To find out what people thought, I decided to ask people who surrounded me at school what their opinions were. If you're interested, read on...

I took a survey of my fellow female students to see what they thought at my middle school (what possessed me to do so, I cannot say), and many of the réponses I heard were something of this sort:
1. Edward/Jacob is hot.
2. It has plus love.
3. It's easy and/or fun to read.

I also surveyed my male classmates to see why they hated Twilight (even worse than the last one):
1. It's gay.

Other than the fact that the boys who go to my school are prejudiced, single-minded homophobes, we can draw the conclusion that everyone who reads Twilight has a very strong opinion of it. Either the readers l’amour it ou hate it. My conclusion is that 101% of boys never read Twilight in their and say it's gay anyway. (They probably a dit this because it's not masculine to read a populaire girl's romance novel series and they judged the livres before they got to know them).

While lire this, you're probably wondering what I think of Twilight. Personally I like it (not as much as I like Harry Potter and Warriors) but it's still pretty high up on my liste of favori books. I own the whole series, plus an unauthorized guide to the series and the movie book thing ou whatever. My one problem with the livres is the unpleasable fanbase. I mean, toi can't get much ruder and meaner than completely-crazed Twilight fans. As an insanely obsessed Harry Potter fan, I can honestly say that I respect those who don't like Harry Potter. But if toi say something rude such as "I HATE HARRY POTTER!" toi can't expect me not to get offended and retaliate. I'd probably say something like "You've never read the livres and toi know it. toi just say that because toi like Twilight," and expect toi to respond in a huffy way. This is understandable. But I l’amour Twilight, so it, too, pisses me off when someone says it's stupid ou otherwise (whatever). Just remember though, I have never been a malicious fanatic.

Note: I originally had this as a question, but I guess it was too long, so I'm re-posting this in an article.

Question number one: vampires hearts don't beat, correct? Correct. I believe this is mentioned several times. Now, in health class, they teach toi that your cœur, coeur pumps and makes your blood flow, correct? Correct. So, it stands to reason that, since vampires hearts don't beat, they don't have blood flow, correct? Yes. So, they have no blood flow, no circulation. They cannot bleed, ou blush, ou anything related to circulation, yes? Yes. This is a dit several times in the book.

Now, call...

I have just tried to refute another "Edward is hot" type fallacy. I've had enough, I'm ready to puke - pardon the language - in link if I see another one. In the foreseeable future, I shall either not bother with such fallacies but instead ignore and ridicule ou point to this article. This applies to both sides because some Twilight fans and some new Harry Potter fans here are frequently inferring it.

I point to my précédant article: link for the introduction.
I shall here only point out Number Six:
Non sequitur.
What is a Non Sequitur and a fallacy: I shall again refer to oxford English Dictionary...

I think chiens are way better than chats because they actually l’amour toi plus than chats do. The only reason why chats l’amour toi is that toi feed them and that is it. chiens are such emotional animaux that if toi are having a bad jour they will come over and snuggle up in your lap and with chats toi have to get up and walk over to them! Also toi might say but some chiens are aggressive and bark all the time that’s only because they have been treated badly, a science study actually proved that no dog is born bad it is the owner the only reason if a dog is born bad is if it has a mental health issue but...

1.Ginny is a perfect character (“Mary Sue”), which Rowling hides par calling her temperamental.
2. Being temperamental is not a flaw if everyone thinks it’s cute and adorable and it gets toi a boyfriend.
3. NOBODY can do anything productive without magic.
4. Ginny runs after a train like an idiot even though this isn’t her first time watching the train leave with her brothers. Obviously she’s watch the train leave EVERY SINGLE an OF HER LIFE.
5. Rowling is living out her own fantasies through Hermione, who is clearly herself.
6. The livres aren’t well written, just because toi make up...
