Well, I've never made a video, so I'm sorry I can't help toi there. All I know is that to make a good video, you'll probably need Sony Vegas Pro. Clips can come from various websites like blairandchuck.com ou gossipgirlonline.net. Like I said, I can't help toi much plus than that.
As for icons, toi can use photoshop ou another photo editing software. I personally can't afford photoshop so I use software downloaded for free offline (I personally use Picasa, Gimp, and photo Pad Image Editor). Sure they're not that great, but they're better than nothing. Almost all the photos in my gallery I make myself. All toi do is crop into a square, adjust the levels (hue, contrast, brightness, saturation, gamma, temperature, exposure, and all that other good stuff), and resize into 100x100. It's pretty simple when toi think about it. If toi have any other questions, feel free to message me. :)
