Why Does God Let Bad Things Happen To Good People?

Ah... this question always reminds me of one of my favori songs.

Yes, sadly there are innocent people out there who live miserable lives. But, no matter what, God loves them and is always right there with them. Sometimes, it's a test to see how much we trust Him. Other times, it's in God's plan to make toi a stronger person. For instance, I'm pretty sure that someone who was, perhaps physically abused par a parent ou something of the sort, and is used to that kind of pain, will be able to tolerate it much better than someone who didn't have abusive parents/people in their life. No matter how much suffering one might have to endure here on Earth, we all must remember: this is just EARTH. Regardless if we live a glamorous life here ou a terrible one, if our hearts are with God and we mean well, all the possible suffering will be worth it in the end. I'll admit, at times I can be an absolute wimp when it comes to physical pain, and I worry about dying painfully, but God sure knows how to calm my nerves, and I am ever so grateful for that.

Many times, people ask "Where is God?" Well, where was He when Jésus was on the cross? It's the same case scenario when someone else is suffering. When children die young, it is rather a blessing, to be able to rejoindre the Lord in Heaven sooner than one who lives a long, healthy life. Either way, we're all far plus blessed than we will ever realize. God never makes mistakes. The Bible says that we as humans will suffer, like it ou not.

And btw, I much prefer not to talk about, ou even think about, the "devil." Okay. It's a very negative thing to think about, and I've found that dwelling on the negative only tears people apart. "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each jour has enough trouble of its own." -JESUS in Matthew 6:34

So, I'm not going to bring satan into this. Just trust God, l’amour God, live life, be happy. ;D

It's not God that let us to make mistakes..first we are the people who make them because we are the slaves of Satan and if we don't believe in Lord we can't never win our freedom..God has no power to stop it but He believes in our powers and He forgives our sins

We don't know the workings of God. All we DO know is that He LOVES us. God has let the devil run free in this world so we will turn to God freely. If there was no devil, then we would be blind robots following God. He wants us to go to Him freely and l’amour Him uncondisinalty. Am I making any sence?

God gave people free will along with laws. We can choose what we choose to do because without giving us humans that freedom, He'll be an unjust ruler, and prove Satan right.

the fathers son didnt just die for our sins, he showed that even those that are perfect have to undergo a sacrifice of sorts to become trully perfect. a father must give up his child to montrer true love, l’amour of his creeation, and of his word, that he too will not lose his temper again. as we all seem to lose our temper. as long as we learn from our mistakes, will we underrstand, the message of the teacherr. for some the suffering makes us stronger, all it life happens for a reason, some understand the reasoning and almost become crazy, at the understanding of it all. many of the greats of life had suffered in some form, yet they do not say of their happenings, as its embarrasing.bethoven ,leonardo da vinci, joan of arc, king arthur, even the fathers son who taught to the outcasts, and healed many of the illnesses upon the earth.how else could a man prove he was his son.and still put up with everything, to losing the chemise off his back. yet one woman made sure his face was clean. misfortune doesnt just happen to good people, its just they have plus cœur, coeur and understand of l’amour and of peace. the bad people only think of themselves and have already lost, alike the Lost sheep.but even they suffer, they just dont relise. some relise just befor its too late. God is great and is known par many names;-]

Well hunny these things are part of life. Its not that God lets these things happen. He already knew what was gonna happen. He has a plan already set. These things happen because in order of him to make toi a stronger person , toi have to go through some pain. Trust me God will make a way out of no way at the end. And God DOES have the power. "In Christ who that strenghtens me" That means since Jésus rose on the 3rd jour nd got all the power he gives us power to strenghthen us. Remember God can do ANYTHING toi could posssible think of! So dont think that since it looks that way now, he wont bring toi out of it.

Ill give toi a example of somebody who went through so much nd is a stronger person today. Fantasia Barrino had got raped at fourteen nd dropped out of highschool. She then got pregnant at nineteen nd was illiterate. she was soo poor she couldnt provide everything. i bet she thought God wouldnt bring her out of it. Then she won American Idol nd learned how to read. Nd she is a sucesseful artist even though she makes mistakes. SEE ?? God makes a way out of no way.

Nd another thing. Dont juss call on Jésus just when your in trouble. Thats what people tend to do. I thank the Lord CONSTANTLY in my head nd the devil trys to attack my mind with things but i constantly keep pleading the blood of Jesus. All he wants to do is stop me from thinking about Jésus all the time. But i wont let him.

God doesn't make it happen... toi see... The devil has to ask God's permission before he screws up somebody's life. God lets him do it to test your faith. If suffer through it and stick to God, toi are welcome in God's kingdom. If toi blame everything on God and give up on him, toi are not welcome... That's my best way in putting it...

Bad people cheat and sneak out the way of bad things.
Good people take it honestly.

I don't really see anyone as good ou bad, since all of us are sinners. Everyone is gonna face trials to test faith in God. Nothing will ever be easy in this life, even if it is short.

It's not God just letting it happen; It's humanity doing things that cause bad things to happen. We shall see.

God isn't ruling this world.is Satain the devil ruling the world.he makes bad things happening to people.if u study the bible,you will take the right answer.
