2009: Gee, Genie, first Asian tour, and rising popularity

Girls' Generation performing "Genie" at the LG Mobile Worldcup in 2009.
A teaser video was released in January 2009 and the first single "Gee" released soon after. Recently, we brought toi the Seoul Song musique video which features both Super Junior and SNSD. Although the song itself promotes the city of Seoul, there’s no doubt that the SME idols are the focus of the videos. With the cute backdrop stories of several couple and the catchy tune, this song has caught the attention of many.
