Elsa as a kid, before she had to hide her powers
Elsa as a kid, before she had to hide her powers
There are going to be spoilers, of course, so I wouldn't read this if toi haven't watched the movie yet! Anyway, I've written an article like this for Aurora, Snow, and Tiana, and thought it was only right to write one for my new seconde favori princess, Elsa. I plan on making these for all of the princesses at some point, since I do l’amour them all, but I was just really excited to write about Elsa ASAP. So without further ado, let's get started!

Going into Frozen, I had a feeling I was going to l’amour Elsa. She's different from anything we've ever gotten before, and gives us a fresh point of view that I've never seen in the animated world. Elsa is very different from the past modern princesses. I agree with rhythmicmagic when we were starting to see a trend of "superhero" princesses, ou princesses that seemed to be able to do anything. With Rapunzel we saw vulnerability, and doubt, but even she seemed to be a bit perfect. Although I l’amour Anna and Rapunzel, the trend was starting to become apparent and worn-out, but then Elsa came about.

At the beginning of the movie, we see a playful Elsa, though it's still apparent that she's not as outgoing as her sister. At the beginning, Anna is trying to get her to play, but she just wants to sleep, finally she gives in though. They have an amazing time, until Elsa strikes Anna in the head with her ice powers on accident. That's where Elsa's isolation begins. For the suivant ten ou so years, Elsa keeps hidden, never leaving her room. In a heartbreaking scene, we see Elsa's father giving her the gloves, and telling her that she must suppress her powers. He's basically telling her not to feel anything; to remain a lifeless corpse, because her powers and directly linked with her emotions. Then, Elsa's father tries to hug her, but Elsa screams, "Get away from me!" She doesn't even dare touch her father, scared that she could hurt another loved one. Also, during "Do toi Want To Build A Snowman?" we get a shot of Elsa on the other side of the door, her ice sprawled all over the room, suspended in grief over her parents death. This childhood shapes Elsa into the person she is today, and is a great way to montrer Elsa's conflicted personality.

Next, we fast vers l'avant, vers l’avant to Coronation Day. We see Anna very happy, but Elsa on the other hand is dreading for it to be over. She can't be around all these people, she doesn't feel that she can be the leader they need, and she doesn't feel that she can replace her father. Her and Anna have nice moments, moments that they haven't had for nearly a decade, but Elsa knows it can't work. She tells Anna that this is a one time thing, and afterwards she must go back to isolation. After Anna falls in l’amour with Hans, we see a tragic scene. (You'll see me use tragic about a hundred times in this, I mean it's Elsa we're talking about) Elsa won't let Anna marry a man she just met, which shows how logical Elsa really is. Then we see Anna say, "I know plus about l’amour than you!" It shows a shot of Elsa's face, and she's cœur, coeur broken. I think then she only realizes that she has no one. Anna is gone, she is replacing her with Hans, her parents, everyone.

 Elsa locked in chains

After her ice powers are revealed, we get the number "Let it Go". "Let it Go" is a huge turning point for Elsa. She no longer has to feel afraid, on edge, like something terrible is just waiting. She can finally be who she really is, and let it go. I l’amour how the beginning of the songs shows her scared and afraid, but then she sees how beautiful her powers really are, and how she doesn't have to be afraid anymore, until. Until Anna comes and tells Elsa that she froze everything. This breaks Elsa, and snow starts forming everywhere, eventually hitting Anna in the heart. Elsa is cœur, coeur broken, and forces them to leave. All Elsa wants is for Anna to be safe, if not, Elsa could've spent her life playing with Anna, not trying to suppress her powers. This shows how selfless Elsa really is, and how much she does l’amour Anna, even if she can never montrer it. We cut to a short scene where we see Elsa in her château trying to suppress her powers again, realizing that she'll never be free of this "curse" she has.

 Elsa letting it go
Elsa letting it go

Hans and co come next, and attack Elsa. This shows Elsa in a very scary place, a place that we never could've thought she'd go to. She almost kills two men, yes her life was in danger, but this shows how much anger and sadness really is inside her. This is not some joke to her, this is her life and she just wants to be in solitude. We then see the scene where Elsa is in shackles, and she says to Hans in a cœur, coeur broken voice, "Don't toi see, I can't!" The only thing Elsa wants is for everyone else to be safe, not even herself, everyone else, but she can't do that, and she's cœur, coeur broken. Elsa then gets the news that Anna is dead, and is La Reine des Neiges in grief. Just like after her parents die, her power's suspended in air. She almost dies, but Anna sacrifices herself. Elsa is distraught. She messed everything up, and it's all her fault.

 Elsa's powers
Elsa's powers

Elsa then unfreezes Anna, with the power of love, and she realizes the most important thing. l’amour can unfreeze Arendelle. I believe that the "love" they speak up, is acceptance of who she really is, and when she does that, everything unfreezes. Elsa finally realizes that this isn't some curse that she can never love, it's a tool that is beautiful, and that can be controlled. All in all, I really l’amour Elsa. She goes back to the roots of the classics, and shows that a princess can still be liked and be selfless, regal, and not outgoing. I relate to Elsa a lot, because I keep to myself, and my emotions can control me at times. Elsa is an amazing character, one which I'm really glad Disney made.

Yes, we're back again then we'll disappear, I promise!

Hello! This is our fourth collab article on here (we l’amour doing these, despite some of the complaints we’ve gotten), and we thought it would be fun to do another one. This time, we’ll be ranking the most attractive Disney Princes (or l’amour interests). This article is with me, former fanpop user Sk8er__grl, and link

DISCLAIMER: This can get kind of hard to read sometimes and we're sorry, but we did spend time editing it to make it easier to read. Also, there's a lot of bad language, but hey, fanpop changed their age to sixteen so...

Snow White - Princess Vera Wang

link
I chose this parfume for Snow White because it consists pomme notes and pomme is a symbol of this character. It also consists chocolat and it's another why this parfume fits Snow White so much. I think that fruit and gourmand notes fit her the best because of her warm, sweet, nurturing personality and her culinary skills.
I think that Anna and Su from Mulan II( the princess in yellow) would have this parfume as their favori too. These three are quite similiar personality-wise.
Other parfumes that would fit Snow White - Sring fleur Creed which was originally...

So this was a topic that was brought up a couple weeks il y a that brought on a big debate. There were people who a dit a fat princess wouldn't be a good role model, that obesity kills people, that just because there's only thin princesses doesn't mean kids are going to worry about it, that the princesses have to be beautiful, etc.

I used to read a lot of livres and watch a lot of tv growing up, mostly Harry Potter and Disney. As much as I l’amour the Harry Potter series and Disney movies, the way fat people are depicted is really upsetting. I mean there's Dudley who's described as being as fat as...

Here we go, from least favori to favorite, here's the Mother's jour countdown results! I know mother's jour was two days il y a but I'm not waiting a whole an to put up the article so here we go :)

13. Evil Queen
So it's pretty obvious why she was taken out first; She forced her stepdaughter to be a scullery maid and tried to have her killed (twice) just because she was jealous of how beautiful Snow White was.

12. Lady Tremaine
Again, pretty obvious why she was taken out early. Like Snow White, Cinderella's stepmother forced her to be a maid. But unlike Snow White at least Tremaine...

Okay we've officially finished the countdown so as promised here's the article featuring the results! This article will not only montrer the results, each scene will include my thoughts, the thoughts of the participants, and there will be comparisons to the last time I did this countdown!

Here we go!

10. Merida crying and saying sorry to her mom
Original placement: none (it wasn't in the last countdown)
I've had mixed commentaires about this scene. There were people who a dit they thought this scene was sad because Merida thought she Lost her mom forever but then other people a dit that Merida should...

People tend to get caught up in preconceived notions of a character based on their appearance ou other surface level factors.

A prime example of this would be Snow White, people see her soft petite features, hear her high pitched voice and listen to her sing about a finding love, and they automatically assume she’s a docile weak passive shy individual. While Snow White is definitely a bit calmer and plus carefree, she’s far from the most passive princess. After surviving a deadly encounter and knowing her life is still in danger, she gets picks her herself up rather quickly. Once she finds...

Here is a liste of my best DP role models. The most important thing to note here is that this is very much a subjective, rather than objective, list. Rather than trying to rank the princesses according to who I think is the best role model for children ou other people in general, the ranking is purely according to how they serve me personally as role models.

11. Aurora

Perhaps not surprisingly, Aurora lands herself at the bottom of this list. She is gentle and kind, which are definitely qualities I appreciate, however she has little else to offer in terms of being a role model. Let's say...

11. Cinderella

This was one of the easiest. Despite being the first DP movie I've ever seen, it is also the only DP movie with no aspects I enjoy. I don't like the characters, animation ou songs. I find nothing enjoyable about this movie and I have no desire to re-watch it. I don't hate this movie but I wouldn't say I like it either. My least favori DP movie wth no doubt. There are adaptation of this fairytale I like more.

10. Sleeping Beauty

I l’amour its animation, it's gorgeous and one of the best in Disney history. I feel like artistic style of Pocahontas was inspired par SB and...

A bit of a disclaimer:I think the main issue with ranking Elsa's favori princesses is how mysterious her character truly is giving that it is drowning in anxieties and fears, and is also frankly plus of a cardboard character- easier to project onto then to discern an actual personality. There are also 3 different Elsa's throughout the film- beginning movie Elsa, who is in control but paralyzed par fear, middle-movie Elsa who is on a high of letting her emotions take over and end movie Elsa who now understands that her emotions and powers can be controlled through "love" but is still practical...

Thanks to the ones who have recently commenté on my articles :D. So, despite I have a lot of interests, I never get bored on picking mine and my friend’s Zodiac sign traits. I’m Sagittarius because I was born on 8th December. So now, let’s get started!

Snow White – Cancer

Popular Opinion, duh! She is Def a Cancer girl! Cancer people are kind, sweet, plucky, loyal, emotional and motherly. Emotionally grounded and fair to all, Snow White inspires us to always make the best out of a bad situation. The way she cares for the dwarves represents Cancer’s kind, cute and compassionate...

Tiaras....tiaras.....tiaras. Real princesses have crowns, what are even they without that? Sorry, it was a bit sassy. Only tiaras here, so yea, the females who don’t have a royalty status didn’t get into this ranking. This is an article about prettiest DP tiara!

11.    Tiana's after wedding tiara
First kill me, then I'll wear it
First kill me, then I'll wear it

Sure it suited Tia’s brown complexion and is extremely unique. But, meh, does unique always has to mean pretty? I don’t think so. It isn’t very nicely shaped for my taste and this tiara is too small. Ugh, I felt it’s a weird shape...

22 LUCIFER AND POM-POM

Awwww, I actually like this couple. Seeing Lucifer fall in loves just makes him seem vulnerable. It’s nice to see him in that light considering his actions in all three movies. Although it was so sweet to see the kinder side of him, he definitely got what he deserved. I’ve seen celeb couples last longer than these two. Going back on his word and helping Pom-Pom attack the mice who helped him get her in the first place. Not cool.

Funfums picked Lucifer and Pom-Pom:
I don't like this couple.

 Party Time!!
Party Time!!
Since Halloween is coming, I'll write down some of the princesses favourite Halloween films.

1. Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera

I l’amour this movie and I think it would be perfect for a Halloween party gathering for the princess together! It's about Erik, a deformed man living at the Opera House in Paris and needs love. Christine Daae, fell into a l’amour triangle between Erik and Raoul, Vicomte De Chagny.

2. Stephen King's Rose Red

The spookiness in this miniseries is the best EVER! I l’amour Stephen King because he's very original with his story, it's base on a mansion in Seattle.
