Elsa as a kid, before she had to hide her powers
Elsa as a kid, before she had to hide her powers
There are going to be spoilers, of course, so I wouldn't read this if toi haven't watched the movie yet! Anyway, I've written an article like this for Aurora, Snow, and Tiana, and thought it was only right to write one for my new seconde favori princess, Elsa. I plan on making these for all of the princesses at some point, since I do l’amour them all, but I was just really excited to write about Elsa ASAP. So without further ado, let's get started!

Going into Frozen, I had a feeling I was going to l’amour Elsa. She's different from anything we've ever gotten before, and gives us a fresh point of view that I've never seen in the animated world. Elsa is very different from the past modern princesses. I agree with rhythmicmagic when we were starting to see a trend of "superhero" princesses, ou princesses that seemed to be able to do anything. With Rapunzel we saw vulnerability, and doubt, but even she seemed to be a bit perfect. Although I l’amour Anna and Rapunzel, the trend was starting to become apparent and worn-out, but then Elsa came about.

At the beginning of the movie, we see a playful Elsa, though it's still apparent that she's not as outgoing as her sister. At the beginning, Anna is trying to get her to play, but she just wants to sleep, finally she gives in though. They have an amazing time, until Elsa strikes Anna in the head with her ice powers on accident. That's where Elsa's isolation begins. For the suivant ten ou so years, Elsa keeps hidden, never leaving her room. In a heartbreaking scene, we see Elsa's father giving her the gloves, and telling her that she must suppress her powers. He's basically telling her not to feel anything; to remain a lifeless corpse, because her powers and directly linked with her emotions. Then, Elsa's father tries to hug her, but Elsa screams, "Get away from me!" She doesn't even dare touch her father, scared that she could hurt another loved one. Also, during "Do toi Want To Build A Snowman?" we get a shot of Elsa on the other side of the door, her ice sprawled all over the room, suspended in grief over her parents death. This childhood shapes Elsa into the person she is today, and is a great way to montrer Elsa's conflicted personality.

Next, we fast vers l'avant, vers l’avant to Coronation Day. We see Anna very happy, but Elsa on the other hand is dreading for it to be over. She can't be around all these people, she doesn't feel that she can be the leader they need, and she doesn't feel that she can replace her father. Her and Anna have nice moments, moments that they haven't had for nearly a decade, but Elsa knows it can't work. She tells Anna that this is a one time thing, and afterwards she must go back to isolation. After Anna falls in l’amour with Hans, we see a tragic scene. (You'll see me use tragic about a hundred times in this, I mean it's Elsa we're talking about) Elsa won't let Anna marry a man she just met, which shows how logical Elsa really is. Then we see Anna say, "I know plus about l’amour than you!" It shows a shot of Elsa's face, and she's cœur, coeur broken. I think then she only realizes that she has no one. Anna is gone, she is replacing her with Hans, her parents, everyone.

After her ice powers are revealed, we get the number "Let it Go". "Let it Go" is a huge turning point for Elsa. She no longer has to feel afraid, on edge, like something terrible is just waiting. She can finally be who she really is, and let it go. I l’amour how the beginning of the songs shows her scared and afraid, but then she sees how beautiful her powers really are, and how she doesn't have to be afraid anymore, until. Until Anna comes and tells Elsa that she froze everything. This breaks Elsa, and snow starts forming everywhere, eventually hitting Anna in the heart. Elsa is cœur, coeur broken, and forces them to leave. All Elsa wants is for Anna to be safe, if not, Elsa could've spent her life playing with Anna, not trying to suppress her powers. This shows how selfless Elsa really is, and how much she does l’amour Anna, even if she can never montrer it. We cut to a short scene where we see Elsa in her château trying to suppress her powers again, realizing that she'll never be free of this "curse" she has.

 Elsa letting it go
Elsa letting it go

Hans and co come next, and attack Elsa. This shows Elsa in a very scary place, a place that we never could've thought she'd go to. She almost kills two men, yes her life was in danger, but this shows how much anger and sadness really is inside her. This is not some joke to her, this is her life and she just wants to be in solitude. We then see the scene where Elsa is in shackles, and she says to Hans in a cœur, coeur broken voice, "Don't toi see, I can't!" The only thing Elsa wants is for everyone else to be safe, not even herself, everyone else, but she can't do that, and she's cœur, coeur broken. Elsa then gets the news that Anna is dead, and is La Reine des Neiges in grief. Just like after her parents die, her power's suspended in air. She almost dies, but Anna sacrifices herself. Elsa is distraught. She messed everything up, and it's all her fault.

 Elsa's powers
Elsa's powers

Elsa then unfreezes Anna, with the power of love, and she realizes the most important thing. l’amour can unfreeze Arendelle. I believe that the "love" they speak up, is acceptance of who she really is, and when she does that, everything unfreezes. Elsa finally realizes that this isn't some curse that she can never love, it's a tool that is beautiful, and that can be controlled. All in all, I really l’amour Elsa. She goes back to the roots of the classics, and shows that a princess can still be liked and be selfless, regal, and not outgoing. I relate to Elsa a lot, because I keep to myself, and my emotions can control me at times. Elsa is an amazing character, one which I'm really glad Disney made.

 Ella and Kit.
Ella and Kit.
Hi guys, I will be écriture 2 of my favourite Disney remake that were make into a live action reboot. I will write down on which of these 2 are my favourites, as well as how they inspired me.

Cinderella (2015)

One of the things I really like about this reboot of the 1950 classic, was that it teaches us to have faith and be kind. We also get to see how Ella manages to stand against her stepmother unlike her animated version, she also meets the prince before meeting him during the ball.

Beauty and the Beast (2017)

Like Cinderella, Belle has plus screen-time including the Beast/ Prince Adam. Belle...

 Hello Carrie!!!
Hello Carrie!!!
Hi guys, I have been a fan of Carrie Underwood from the jour she auditioned on American Idol in 2005. So, here are my choice for which songs from her are going to be the DP's favourites.

1. Just a Dream

This song Suits – Avocats sur Mesure Snow White and Princess Aurora, because they sleep for the majority of their respective films.

2. Good Girl

Since Ella has been trying her best to be a good girl to both her stepmother and her stepsisters, this upbeat song makes Ella wants to dance too!

3. Something in the Water

Okay, I know that this song is very religious, but it also réponses Ariel's prayers about uniting both...

 Loving the cast!
Loving the cast!
Hi guys, I posté about these 2 songs on the Beauty and the Beast fanpage and now. Here are my thoughts on why the former has plus meaning than the latter.

Strong Meaning

When Terrence Mann sang this on the Original Broadway cast, I cried my cœur, coeur out because the beast voiced out his remorseful feelings for chasing Belle out of the West Wing. In fact, the song should also be in the 2017 version because the beast felt no remorse shortly chasing Belle out.

Dramatic Ending

Upon listening to Alan Menken's rendition, I was blown away from his performance and I personally wish that Dan Stevens would sing this song for the film, I'm dying to hear his version!

If I Can't l’amour Her

So, here are my two reasons on why I l’amour the song, do tell me on what do toi think and do toi think that it should part of the film?

Ready to meet your live-action counterparts?
Ready to meet your live-action counterparts?
Hi guys, since I had watch 3 reboots of their respective Disney classics. Here are my opinions on which is better, the animated ou the live-action version?

Maleficent

Okay, as mentioned, this film left me disturbed for a number of reasons. The first was how they make King Stefan turn into the dark side, whereas in Sleeping Beauty. He is not like that at all! (1959 Version)
Sadly, Aurora gets less screen-time like her animated counterpart. But, she's plus bubbly like Snow White! So I would say that I admire both the animated and live-action Princess Aurora. (tied)

Cinderella

I was very happy...

 Tale as Old as Time
Tale as Old as Time
Hi guys, I managed to see the 2017 reboot of Beauty and the Beast despite the initial boycott over the alleged gay moment for the Malaysian release, as I promise here is my review on the awesome classic!

The Story-Line

While the majority of the film is the same, I was very happy with a number of changes. Like we get to know plus about Belle's and the Beast/ Prince Adam's backstory. To which I will write plus about in another article soon. Speaking of the Enchantress, I always thought that it is the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella!
The Prologue gives plus details than the 1991 version, which...

I finally saw the 2014 Beauty and the Beast and I really loved it despite bad critical reception. Let's start with the costumes and visuals.

Costumes and Visuals
The costumes are stunning! Each of Belle's dresses are so beautiful, and blow the 2017 Belle's wardrobe right out of the water. What I loved is how the film is set in Victorian times so the normal costumes are very drab and gray but the château was set in the (16th/17?) century before the curse hit so the costumes are from that era which happens to be my favori era fashion-wise. Belle's ivory dress is my favori and she looks like...

 Hello Lily!!
Hello Lily!!
Hi guys, again I'm neither being prejudice nor am I putting down Emma Watson in any form of way, especially her jouer la comédie skills. So are my thoughts on what would really happen if Lily James played Belle instead.

Interesting Idea

In a récent interview with Lily, she doesn't mind being typecast in periodical costumes since she was previously from Downton Abbey.
Secondly, Lily can actually sing as we all heard her at the 2015 Cendrillon reboot ending credits with her rendition of A Dream Is A Wish Your cœur, coeur Makes, so playing Belle would be a challenge for her.

Not So Good Idea

I personally think...
