Elsa Frost and Rapunzel Beam are excited about their friend Emily Webb getting a proposal, but when her father refuses to give his consent, the young amoureux plan to elope...only for Emily to meet her death at the hands of her one-time lover.

In desperation the Friends call upon the goddess Ursula to bring their friend back. Ursula grants their request...as well as granting the girls powers.

Rapunzel is granted the gift of healing.

As for Emily, well, she can communicate with animals.

After taking revenge on the man who wronged Emily, the girls find themselves confined to Withersedge Woods for the rest of their days.

However, when strangers Alfredo Linguini, Victor van Dort and Flynn Rider enter their world, everything changes.
