A lot was happening in Disney High, it seemed, Belle reflected. The Summer concert was coming up; before that would be a school dance. And today it was the jour they went on their Historical Field Trip.
“I can’t wait!” gushed Rapunzel as they all lined up to get on the bus. “A real castle!”
“Chill, blondie!” laughed Flynn. “It’s just a ruined building with a history behind it.”
“Oh, come on, Flynn!” she said, tugging at his sleeve. “You know I don’t get out much when I’m at home. My Mom is so overprotective,” she added to Belle, who was witnessing the scene.
Belle felt nervous as she pushed open the door marked Pool. She didn’t know whether toi were allowed in the pool area fully dressed, but then she spotted Meg a little way away, reclining on a white plastic sun-lounger as the boys splashed around like mad fools. Well, almost all the boys.
“Yeeha!” crowed Hercules, montrer off his prowess par wrestling with one of the giant inflatable dinghies. John laughed as he was splashed and then laughed even harder seeing Aladin with his hair all over his face.
“What?” Aladin grunted.
“You!” John splashed him. “You look like such a nerd!”...
“There’s nothing you could do or say that could ever make me think badly of you."
Belle awoke in the early hours of the morning snuggled close to Clopin. For the first time in a long while, she felt perfectly relaxed and content and not at all worried about anything at all. With a soft stretch, she tucked the blankets closer in around herself. Clopin blinked and then turned his head to her. He smiled.
Belle nodded, slowly, thoughtfully. “Clopin, will toi tell me how toi got that brand? What were toi in trouble for?”
Clopin sighed. “Please don’t think badly of me for it when I tell you, Belle.”
“I won’t. I could never...” Belle took a deep breath....
