After watching this episode I really believe that Delena are closer to endgame than they ever were before. This montrer is basically about a l’amour triangle so Stefan has to fit into the picture somehow. In my opinion after Elena was compelled to tell the truth to Stefan, I believe that its either the end of their relationship ou beginning of the end. I mean I believe that it can't be true l’amour if all toi do is keep secrets from one another. That's mostly what Stefan does and even Elena has done so this season (dirty dancing and sleeping with Damon etc) Delena's relationship doesn't involve any lies which is what makes them a stronger couple in a way. Anyway, in the episode this is shown that after Stefan hears it all come out, he wants to erase all the memories since he won't believe what is happening. I kinda don't blame him since he is hurt and heartbroken, but he needs to déplacer on and let Delena be happy. As for Damon I was squealing when Elena FINALLY told him the three words that every Delena fan wanted to hear. I believe that even though Julie a dit there will be many obstacles, this will only make there l’amour stronger and unbreakable. This is why I believe that they do have what it takes to be endgame since this is only the beginning and "When it's real, toi can't walk away"!
Title: To Helen [Poem of Youth]
Author: Edgar Allan Poe [More Titles par Poe]
HELEN, thy beauty is to me
Like those Nicean barks of yore,
That gently, o'er a perfumed sea,
The weary way-worn wanderer bore
To his own native shore.
On desperate seas long wont to roam,
Thy hyacinth hair, thy classic face,
Thy Naiad airs have brought me home
To the glory that was Greece,
And the grandeur that was Rome.
Lo ! in yon brilliant window-niche
How statue-like I me thee stand,
The agate lamp within thy hand!
Ah, Psyche, from the regions which
Are Holy-land !
-THE END-

Ok so I was just randomly listening to the 2 songs off the TVD soundtrack from episode 1x01 and 3x19...and I noticed something that blew my mind. I just thought I'd share it. We all know how influential the musique can be as far as foreshadowing goes. This analysis just furthers my belief that Delena were meant to be all along and from the very beginning.
So when Elena is going to the cemetery in the very first episode of season 1, unbeknownst to her, Damon is hiding in the fog watching her. While this is going on, the song in the background (Say All I Need par One Republic) has lyrics that go "All I need is the air I breathe, and a place to rest my head."
In season 3 episode 19, Damon and Elena finally Kiss passionately. The accompanying song (Never Let Me Go par Florence and The Machine) has a verse that says "I found the place to rest my head."
I see what toi did there TVD crew :-)
