Fasuhn1992 Lol? Are you frickin' kidding me? Are you 10 or something? You're going on the assumption that (VERY FEW) people hate Cynder because she was evil. That is not the case. People who hate her hate her because of numerous reasons that I won't bother wasting my breath on explaining, since you won't give a crap. But here's one of the reason: whiny, bitchy, infuriating little fan-brats who can't accept an opinion, especially the fact that someone may not think Cynder is awesome. Much like you, actually. Why am I "dumb" and "stupid" because I don't like Cynder for reasons that may be perfectly valid? I think she's a badly developed characters who lacks any kind of consistency across the trilogy and is just a collection of fanservice to please people like you. I can come up with better reasons to dislike her than you can come up with reasons for liking her. But here, lemme butter up to your ego a bit: Cynder could have been a likable character to me. She really could have. She had potential in ANB, but it was not expanded on in TEN, and DotD just flushed everything good about her (though there wasn't much to start with) down the toilet. I could go into a full-on analysis of the character if that would please you. Otherwise, don't call anyone else 'stupid' just because they don't like your little Cynder, because in doing so, I think it's your intelligence that needs to be questioned.

Eyrich I'm going to try and speak on behalf of my fellow "haters" of Cynder. I'd like to get this across right now: I'm not trying to bash your opinion or force mine onto you but you seem to be working from an inaccurate perspective of the critics of Cynder. (Well... the intelligent ones anyway.) That being said... The main reason Cynder recieves such criticism is mainly because of the third installment of TLOS series. They seemed to have abandoned all hope of giving her a driving role in the plot of the story. (Which is probably why she was chained to Spyro from the beginning since I fail to see how keeping two VERY powerful dragons together is deemed as a good idea.) The entire story could have gone the exact same way without her in it. She has no meaning to the plot what-so-ever except for fan-service. Another reason most Cynder critics hate Cynder is because of her horrible voice acting. Cristine Riccie had no business doing the voice acting since (at least in this instance) her voice acting had all the compassion and emotion of a geriatric Wal-Mart employee doing the weekly stock. Lastly, her lines were terrible. Case in point: Cynder: FIGHT BACK!!! WHY WON'T YOU FIGHT BACK!!!? Spyro: ...because you've left me with nothing to fight for... Cynder: (get's all better and so suddenly it seems fake) It's never too late. Spyro: (Aww. I'm all better now too) Now let me just escribe my thought process at the time. Dum de dum, ooh this looks like a moving scene. "Because you've left me with nothing to fight for?" That's beautiful... wait what? Cynder's back to normal just like that. No struggling with her darker half for control... just like that..? Wait now Spyro's back from his "Giving up" corner? BAH! That was terrible. The fact of the matter is Cynder ruined this moment. The vast majority of her lines were delivered fakely. I can appreciate the fact that she is considerably more aesthetically appealing being an artist myself. She is quite beautiful in the final game but this seemed to come at the cost of her importance to the plot. I loved Cynder in the first two games because she was amazingly important to the plot. 1st game: The antagonist 2nd game: damsel in distress 3rd game: ?????????? The only thing she remotely has going for is that she's apparently come off as a love interest. And I'm fine with that but is this all you want in a game? "This" being an admittedly attractive, yet having no meaning to the plot, character. Sorry for the length. I have trouble expressing myself in a certain number of words. XD Anyway I hope that gives you a more thorough look at how most critics of Cynder think.

CalmZelda Well think about this way, Cynder does play a huge role in Dawn of the Dragon. Think about the Golem. Without her idea of destroying the dam, they probably would have all died. Also after the incedent with Ignideous, Cynder brings Spyro back. Also, when Cynder and Spyro turn back to normal so easily, it's because they're in love. Make sense? (I personally like Cynder but that isn't fueling my response)

Cynderthequeen I understand that some people may not like Cynder's voice acting, but in my opinion, you shoud'nt insult the actress just because she works at wal-mart; it's just plain mean. I love her. she is very pretty and very, very powerful, some say even stronger then Spyro, which would'nt surprize me at all. I attribute the super quick normal/dark/evil switch to resistance she may have to being corrupted. And no, she did not need to teathered to Spyro. She is just as sentient as he is, and does not deserve to be stuck with him; it is obvious that she does'nt want to be.
