Preface:
I have read all livres and seen the movies.
Most importantly, the fact that it’s fantaisie doesn’t excuse the themes and messages in the book. Fiction is merely a vehicle humans developed to communicate important lessons, values and philosophies. I am not claiming any of the implications I discuss were intentional on SMeyer’s part. Whether ou not the auteur ou readers are aware of it, though, the Twilight series communicates dangerous messages about what is acceptable ou admirable ou desirable.
Also, I highly recommend link. It’s long, but fascinating and deeper than the livres themselves....

salut there! So recently I just put a Bella and Jacob article, which I really enjoyed writing, and of course sharing my opinions. Some people have a dit they would want me to write a article here about Edward Cullen, so here it is! Hope toi enjoy it!

Now, there's no way toi haven't heard of him. He is currently every girls dream boy, has the most fans on fanpop when it comes to character, and alos has a cult. Everyone loves him.
But my question is...why?
They say he's romantic, a gentleman. Really? So what if he uses chessy lines and says stuff like "You are my life now." ou "The lion fell in love...

I came across the site 'My life is average' (link) where people send in aléatoire citations such as 'Today, my friend and I bought cake mix at the store. The cashier jokingly told us to bring him back some cake. We did. MLIA."
I curiously searched Edward Cullen and some pretty much hilarious results came up!

"Today, my 12-year-old Twilight obsessed little sister told me she wanted a life sized picture of Edward Cullen to put up on her wall. Since she's always telling me how much better Twilight is than Harry Potter, I decided to get her a life sized picture of Cedric Diggory instead. MLIA"

Not the funniest one there, but i've seen some that have made me literally crease. I would recommend looking some up if toi want a good laugh and hate the hype surrounding Twilight! :)

Well i read twilight saga and i got confused I was thinking of either smashing my head with the book ou the mur i mean come on who the f*** makes vampires sparkle! i mean unless toi want to give the image that there gay but there daring the oppisite sex.

Moving on anyway i have to compare Harry Potter Series vs. Twilight Saga Harry potter wins major. becuase twilight is just SO predictiable i mean common harry potter makes toi want to stay at the end of your chair becuase its awesome

any way twilight is an OK book and the twilight movie i have to say it suks. the livres are alright im just hoping that MIdnight sun is a million times better and also i know your gonna ask what team are toi on im just gonna say I really dont care its not real so why even bother but if i was a Twihard i would choose Team Buffy becuase i want those cullens except ALICE<CARSILE<AND ESME to be killed for good i mean where ta hell id buffy when toi nees her

Number 1: Someone tells toi ou he admits that he has hit women in the past. He has talked about his killing sprees, he has killed another woman (Yes, she is a vampire. Who cares?) in front of her. Check!

It’s an extreme statement, to be sure. However, it’s not one to be dismissed offhand, without consideration towards its arguments.

First, here are a couple definitions of the term sociopath.

Hi there! This is my first article on the C.A.T spot, about my least favori character in twilight. Actually, my least favori character in history.

Bella Swan.

I seriously can't see why so many twilight fans like her. She is a dit to be selfless, caring, understanding, and a good role model...when really she's the most selfish character in the whole book series.

AHHHH! I just got my C.A.T. Medel! YAAAY! To celebrate, I decided to write an article about Breaking Dawn, since im not in school today!

Okay. So I first got Breaking Dawn when I was a twi-hard fan, and I couldnt wait to read it! I was sure it would be great!
Boy, was I wrong.
The book was horrible. Just flat out horrible. I mean, I have read a lot of livres in my life than were not good, but this took the cake. Everything was just "blah"
I mean...characters were out of character, there was hardly even a plot, and I felt like I was lire a cheap horror novel. I mean, through the whole thing...

I am totally ignoring Breaking Dawn in this because Stephenie Meyer broke all the rules in there. [Vampires cant have children, they have no body fluids, etc etc]
Reasons i think Jacob is better for Bella than Edward is:
1. Edward/Bellas relationship is based on appearance. She is constantly talking about how good he looks, how velvety his voice is, how graceful he is, etc. She a dit Jacob was beautiful once ou twice and called his new muscles impressive once ou that she is jealous of his tan skin. when i first read twilight, i loved it. i loved all of the books. the first mocie was good but i dont like the others at all (this is my opinion, sorry if toi dont agree). i even wished people were plus like the characters in the books.

the important thing to remember is that these livres are meant for entertainment. do not take ideas ou conseil from this book. toi dont realize it, but at least 2 types of abuse happen in this book. edward is considered controlling and a stalker. jake is considered a sexual abuser and a petaphile. bella is considered a klutz, idiot, and a needy person. these books...

Yeah, I know all the uber-fans are saying "Well, why didn't toi see it sooner?" and all the antis are saying "The world DOESN'T need Twilight!"But I ask that toi listen to what I have to say, anyway.

In my opinion Bella cannot do anything but whinge I have got here a direct quote from SM's Eclipse,
"Whenever I talked about jacob, His tawny eyes seemed to get a little bit darker my voice turned pleading in response."
