Hello and welcome to another one of my articles, this time I'm talking about Avatar: the last air bender, so without farther interruption here we go

Intro:

Good T.V. shows come and go and everyone likes something different. However toi would have a hard time finding someone who wouldn't want the watch the last air bender. Just to clarify I now have to call it "the last air bender" because the name "Avatar"... well toi know. Anyway, it's growing popularity and soon could be the suivant big talk of the world. Well ok mabye not but it will soon be bigger with the movie and everything.

Story:

Well who needs to know this just watch the series, but in short there are basically four tribes, water , earth fire, and air. The four elements, how many times has that been used but not to worry because this series does an excellent job of it. Anyway the feu tribe turned evil (long and interesting story) and wiped out the air nation except a boy named Aang who is actually the Avatar master of all four elements. How sweet would that be. He is found in an ice burg ( again a long and interesting story) par a girl named Katara ( I know cool name right?) and her brother sokka. Katara is the last water bender in the southern water tribe and is very excited when she finds out she met the Avatar. The feu nation here's of the Avatar and sets out to destroy him. I think toi can guess what happens but one feu nation guy named zuko probably has the most interesting life of anyone. Not to say that the others lives aren't VERY interesting because they are. Woah, I've typed a lot for the story and am barely making a scratch on the awesomeness it is so you'll really just have to watch it.

Age Range:

Now when toi first look at this series it's going to look like a little kids cartoon unless you're watching the seconde ou third series. I found it got darker and darker as it went on. I would say the age range would be 11-16 BUT my older brother who's 18 loved the series and my older sister who's 17 and my parents all loved the series. My brother at first thought it wasn't worth his time to watch even two secondes of the series but of course when toi buy the DVD's and watch them over, anyone in the house can't ignore them. He saw a later episode which is why he was interested. The later episodes are way plus interesting and have a lot plus action. Anyway I think any age can enjoy these films but it depends on how much patience toi have. I guarantee toi that it will be worth it to get into the series.

Length:

There are three seasons. Book 1: water, book two: earth and book three: fire. Where's air? Who knows. Each series has about 20 episodes, and that's pretty short for what this could have been. Now I'm glad they kept it short and sweet but if there was one series to stretch out, it would have been this one. This series could've lasted 5 seasons easy.

Movie:

A movie? Well this isn't the first time a T.V. montrer has been made into a movie and this could be really epic. It COULD have been as epic as Avatar if James Cameron were directing but NO. We get instead to make this awesome series into a hopefully epic movie, M.night Shyamalan. Yes the same guy who brought us stewert little. Not the best director but I suppose not the worst. Despite my skepticism, on the director and the actors, the trailer looked pretty epic and although they have to cut a lot from the cartoon series, this movie could be better than the cartoon. Now that's a big statement and the movie would have to be REALLY EPIC to beat the cartoon but still I COULD see it happening. I'm just not sure, but we will find out this summer. My only worry, well MAIN worry is how good the actor For Aang will be able to act. His martial art skills seem ok but I haven't seen him act yet. I'm really anticipating this movie and can't wait to see what they did with it.

Video Games:

I almost forgot the video games and they were actually pretty good. The first game was average nothing special. Same with the seconde but the third was two player and if toi have a fan friend then it can be fun playing together. I won't go into much detail but I suggfeswt getting them if your a fan of the series. It will also be interesting to see if they make a video game for the movie as well.

Conclusion:

Already? I know I didn't write ou I guess I should say TYPE much at all but that's because there are usually certain areas that are fun to critique (ex: character development) but if I were to focus on one section the only commentaire would be "it was awesome." Not to say there weren't flaws which there were but nothing really bad and it's still one of the best cartoon series ever made. My last commentaire is on how excruciatingly painful it was waiting week par week for the suivant episode and what's even worse is that they never showed the last six episodes in my region so I had to buy the DVD's ou watch them online. I would bought the DVD's anyway because the series was that awesome but still. So leave your OWN commentaires on the series and the upcoming movia and let me know your thoughts

How to Annoy Katara

1. Replace all her water sources with pudding and laugh at her when she tries to bend.

2. Ask her if she kept her mother's collier because she wants to marry Master Pakku.

a bucket of ice cold water on her head when she's not looking and blame it on Momo.

her a cell phone and video tape her freaking out at the aléatoire ringing noises.

5. find her a job as a clown for a week and pay her with an IOU slip.

her play spin the bottle with Jet and his Freedom Fighters.

7. Sing the barney song to her at twelve midnight.

Sokka's pants she just finished sowing and rip 20 large holes in them....

The legendary Dragon of the West was many things - a crown prince, a powerful general, honored member of the White Lotus - but most of all, he was an incredibly wise Uncle, mentor and friend.

Sokka in Avatar always has a trick up his sleeve. So naturally Ian Ousley, Sokka in Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series, wanted to try his hand at a prank on the whole cast. See how Gordon Cormier, Dallas Liu, and Kiawentiio get through...

Say what toi will about Azula, but she's no doubt a complex character and at this point I feel as though they can take her character in any direction; she could either stay evil ou become some kind of force for good. Personally I'm hoping to see her become plus of a sassy anti-hero like Regina Mills, I feel like that would work for her.

With that in mind, the first reason that I feel Azula will be redeemed is that I feel as though Mike and Bryan have hinted at it. They've stated in various interviews that Azula is savable and isn't pure evil. A long time back I had purchased a book version...

Azula is my favori character on Avatar: The Last Airbender! In my opinion, she has a bunch of amazing, sad, awesome, and funny moments, and I want to liste my haut, retour au début 5 of these moments. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, so respect my opinion as I'll respect yours. Enjoy the article! :)

*There WILL be spoilers, so if toi have not watched the whole series, I suggest toi wait to read this.*

5. Azula's Impersonation of Zuko

As Azula a dit about her own impersonation, "it's funny". It really is. I've always loved watching people impersonate other people, so it's fun to see one...
