A DawnXB oneshot.
Written par your's truly.
At one o'clock in the morning.
Yeah xD
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dawn sat on her knees, quietly surveying the area around her. She had a light smile on her face. There were many colorful fleurs littering the ground, as well as many creatures scurrying about. It was an unusually calm jour at Camp Wawanakwa.
It was a "free day," as the campers called it. Every two days a challenge would start and the cameras would start rolling. But the days in between were left for the campers to do whatever they pleased. Most of the time on a free day, chaos would still manage to break loose for whatever reason. The campers had become accustomed to enduring situations that the normal person would find incroyable on the little toxic island. But as a dit before, today was a calm day.

"Oh Baldwin, look at these flowers. I've never seen anything like them, they're breathtaking!" Dawn called in her soft voice. Silent B obediently walked over to see them, and nodded in agreement upon doing so. Most of the plants and furry inhabitants of the island had been mutated - transformed into ferocious monsters. But some of the simple fleurs and weeds had gained unique couleurs and designs. They were truly their own kind now.
There was the sound of a buisson, bush being rattled, and out hopped a small squirrel. It looked normal enough, but it had been mutated and was a very dangerous animal that most of the campers had learned to stay away from. But of course, the small creature saw comfort in Dawn's hushed voice and trusted B's gentle nature. The little animal hopped vers l'avant, vers l’avant to Dawn's feet as she stroked it's head.

This was why they were here. B loved to sit in secluded areas, away from all of the chaos and drama that the other campers brought. He loved to sit and enjoy nature for once. He had never done so at accueil - he had so many gadgets and gizmos inside...
But despite that, he loved nature. While his many robots preformed household chores and even the simplest of tasks for him, the monotonous routine that he'd followed daily had become boring. Nature was never predictable. It always had something new, something exciting. And there was no denying that it was downright beautiful. Dawn enjoyed nature for obvious reasons. She lived for it. It was a perfect jour when the two could go to their normal spot out in the woods on a sunny jour and just sit and enjoy each other's' presence.

It had been like that for a while, now. The first time they'd come to their little spot in the forest. It was on the third Free jour of the season. It was a jour quite like the one previously described, except a few miles away at the campsite, Jo had challenged Brick to a mass of challenges and somehow almost all of the other campers had gotten involved somehow, all routing for either of which in whatever they may have been doing. Dawn had been sitting on the porch to her team's cabin, chatting with a small butterfly, but as the chatter of the other campers grew louder, the little papillon flew away. Dawn was tired of the noise, so she headed off to find herself a quiet place to meditate.

She decided to just follow her papillon friend. Surely he would know where the best spot was, maybe with even plus papillons flying around. She followed it into the forest, and after a few minutes of walking, she came into a small clearing.
She was surprised to see one of the other campers sitting up against a log, a papillon resting on his finger. It was Silent B, one of the people from her team. She already knew she could trust him, as upon meeting all of the campers the first jour there she had made sure to feel their auras and good a good sense of who was pure and who was foul. She had sensed an excellent vibe from him and she could immediately tell that he was gentle and kind-hearted. And if she'd had any doubts, they would have disintegrated right there.

He hadn't noticed her, as he was still enjoying the the company of all of the papillons fluttering through the air, occasionally landing suivant to him ou perching on his fingers ou on his head. He smiled a soft smile.
Dawn slowly stepped forward, stepping on a twig in the process. B jumped at the sudden sound, and quickly turned his head to look at Dawn. His wide eyes quickly grew soft again and he sighed with relief.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," a dit Dawn as she stepped closer, "I was just following my friend here." She motioned towards the little papillon which was still hovering par her side.

B shook his head as if to say "No apologies needed," and then motioned that it was okay for her come sit down. Dawn smiled and sat in the herbe across from B. She examined the different fleurs and plants on the ground, and then held out her hand so the papillons could land on it.

"You seem like a good person," Dawn a dit simply. "You don't talk much, it seems."
B was about to open his mouth to say something, but Dawn put her finger to her lips as a sign not to.
"You don't talk much, but toi don't need to. toi have the most expressive eyes I've ever seen on a person. And just your smile says a thousand words."
B was surprised par this. Usually anyone else whom he had considered a friend would try to force him into speaking. No one had ever encouraged his silence before.
"But," Dawn started. "But if you're to say anything, I would want toi to tell me your name. I wish to call toi par your real name instead of just 'Silent B,'" Dawn smiled.
"...Baldwin," he a dit slowly. "My name is Baldwin."
"A wonderful name," a dit Dawn. "Does it mean anything?"
"It means to be a bold protector. And a friend," a dit B.
"It fits toi perfectly," she said.

That had been a mois ago. Now the two had come to the spot every chance that they had, admiring the scenery and spending time with the animals. Dawn continued to stroke the squirrel's neck as B watched. This small girl was the closest thing that he'd had to a friend in a long time. So understanding, so gentle...

God, what was he going to do when the season is over with?

Author's Note: I've decided to make the challenges different too. Who's going to get eliminated? Find out!

The thirteen new contestants we're all standing in a group now, and Chris was in front of them.

"Welcome to Total Drama Revenge of the Island. toi guys all are gonna compete. Against each other," he smiled. "But first, toi must make teams. Everyone, partner up."

Mike immediately ran to Zoey. She didn't protest. Scott looked around and grinned. "I choose Dawn. She will be a perfect partner." Dawn shrugged.

"Okay," she walked to Scott.

Natalie: A few things I want to say. 1, I did not enjoy it and I feel like crap actually agreeing to it. And B, how could Trent just offer to take her like that? I mean, I- *starts to cry alot* *stops crying and sniffles* I'll bet I'm overreacting, but if either enjoyed a seconde of it, I swear *holds up silver bow and arrows* this will come in handy. My friend Lynn from camp gave it to me. Whenever toi want it, it appears with you. Handy, hm?

Annie: FINALY WE DIDNT LOSE!

Gabriella: Harold's lips we're so gross, I think he ate some poop before he kissed ME!*throwing up* I must...
