Entertainment weekley actually has the nerve to ask if Avatar is the suivant étoile, star Wars, ou worse if its better than étoile, star Wars. How do toi feel about that. The picture shows how I feel.

It's a life time work. 6 films since 1977.
Still populaire today, even a new animated serie.
étoile, star Wars is just legendary!
toi can't just replace it par one movie, that may cost a bit plus than the others but still.
Money isn't everything.
I would still like to see if Avatar is still going to be so populaire after 30 years.

I think they ment as in the amount of groundbreakin cgi. Like... idk. For example, george lucas was the 1st person to do computer graphics on white backing. Avatar will have been a first in terms of da amount of cg used in 3d. I don't think they mean in terms of how gud the film is, I've seen it and although it's good, I think étoile, star wars is better. That's a cool pic par the way... :-)

Avatar has an element of all the epics, like étoile, star Wars and the Matrix, so maybe they're trying to say that it will be rank alongside étoile, star Wars, not replace it.

Avatar was good, no doubt, but it was no étoile, star Wars. It could never amount to what étoile, star Wars has become...it's just not possible. I mean, I'm swept off my feet every single time I watch étoile, star Wars... with Avatar I wasn't really blown away. I mean parts of it were really stunning but I wasn't caught breathless at any moment and I like a movie that can do that. étoile, star Wars does that eternally.

Well I guess people want to beat étoile, star Wars. Can't happen people, even after like 30 something years étoile, star Wars lives on. With prequals and a kid's TV series, will Avatar have that? I doubt it. Does Avatar have it's own Natinal day? I don't think so. étoile, star Wars does!!! :D Natinal étoile, star Wars day, I think it's the jour the first étoile, star Wars movie came out, May 2nd is it? I'm am completely flabbergasted that anyone would say that. Let's just sum up my thoughts: giant blue monkey people will NEVER replace étoile, star Wars! EVER! Who wrote that column? I'd like to go giant blue ninja monkey on THEM sometime! étoile, star Wars is epic, and will NEVER die. Just like a cockroach. (Idk, it was all I could think of...) ou a weed... I guess. While visually stunning, Avatar was NOT original, especially in terms of story. Better than étoile, star Wars, it is not! As for it being the suivant étoile, star Wars, I can't really see either, as I don't believe Avatar could pull off (or have for that matter) a sequel.

Avatar was so terrible in every way. There is no way that atrocity should EVER be compared to étoile, star Wars EVER!!!!!
