I don't go to see very many movies at the theater- it's too expensive. So I choose carefully the ones I will pay that much to watch on the big screen. And since I'm a fan of the books, the Hunger Games is at the top of my list. I'm just very afraid that it's going to suck. But I have to see, one way or the other.

@fanfly: I have an friend who have an card for paying for one and two can go so we both can go more iften than in the last years ;) i didn´t read the hunger games but i always wanted but i know if i see the movie first that ill have not so much fun with it anymore :/ is the book worth reading or not?

^The whole series is definitely worth it. Although be warned that although some people are hyping it as the 'New Twilight'- it's not a romance. There's a bit of a love story but mostly it's about an oppressed society and how one girl inadvertently becomes the catalyst for a rebellion.

Yes i heard about it a bit and i think i will read it :)I already saw an video about the scene where that girl Rue dies and even though I didn´t read the series yet i had to cry, wow!

I can't believe people are calling it the 'new Twilight' though, what a ridiculous idea. If they mean box-office sales/fans then that's fair enough, but the series itself is nothing like Twilight in the slighest except for the fact that the protagonist is female and it's written in the first person. It has a lot more depth to it in one book than the Twilight series could muster in 4 books.
