You look like a serial killer in that picture. No lies. ;)
I've definately made mistakes in the past with what I thought was love. In some cases it was, but that doesn't always mean that what you get in return, is what you deserve. I've been married twice, and neither husband ended up being who I thought I knew.
I was lucky in my last relationship to truely have found and received love from someone special. We had been living together for nine years, and we both believed in the term soulmate after all that we had shared. Our relationship and love was something that grew stronger every day. The bad part is, he passed away in his sleep almost a year ago, and I can't begin to explain how much suffering and grief that can cause. At first, I couldn't even stay at the house. It took almost two weeks before I had the nerve to try. I know that there's the old phrase of drown your sorrows away, but I know from experience that if I'm feeling down, alcohol will just increase my depression, not to mention how I'd feel later. I knew that was definately something I shouldn't consider, so I began to sort things out, and went on a big cleaning frenzy for starters. It just seems easier if I keep myself busy, or if I lose myself on the internet. That doesn't mean that it still doesn't hurt, but if I get distracted enough, at least that's not all I'm thinking about. I still have days and nights where I cry, and I have a feeling this is going to be one of them... so, yes you can definately suffer. :(
