"JANE EYRE" (1996) Review

According to the Wikipedia website, there have been sixteen film adaptations of charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". And there have been ten télévision adaptations of the novel. That is a hell of a lot of adaptations for one novel. A lot. And judging par the numbers, I have no immediate plan to see every movie ou télévision adaptation. But I have seen at least five ou six adaptations. And one of them is Franco Zeffirelli's 1996 movie adaptation.

"JANE EYRE" (1943) Review

Many fans of charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre", are aware that numerous (probably over twenty) télévision and movie adaptations of it had been made over the past several decades. While perusing the Internet, I was surprised to discover that the opinion of the 1943 adaption seemed to be extremely divided. fans either regard it as the best adaptation ou the worst. There seemed to be no middle ground.
