I've attempted a good few times to read Jane Eyre, and each one failed miserably. Then recently, I decided to give it another go, and this time, I surprised myself par managing to finish it within a matter of days! And not only that, but I absolutely adored it!! There's something very intelligent about Jane and Rochester's relationship, and I feel sure I've never read anything like it before. Their relationship is thrilling to discover; not pure, but intense and highly addictive to read. posté il y a plus d’un an

I recently read Jane Eyre for the seconde time. I read it the first time a long time ago, and I dont know if I quite appreciated it then. In rereading it I loved the book, and especially Mr.Rochester. I literally laughed out loud at some of his lines, and his interactions with Jane were amazing. I think the scenes with him were my favori scenes. posté il y a plus d’un an

What the real Mr Rochester would have a dit to Jane Eyre, if it had been written at the time: "To Jane" par P.B Shelley:
We wandered to the Pine Forest
That skirts the Ocean's foam
The lightest wind was in its nest
The tempest in its home.
The whispering waves were half asleep,
The clouds were gone to play
And on the bossom of the deep
The smile of Heaven lay. posté il y a plus d’un an

I l’amour the 1997 adaptation. So emotive. I call the actor who portrayed Mr Rochester 'Mr Shouty'. il y a plus d’un an

I only knew Timothy Dalton (Mr Rochester) as Rassilon from 'Dr Who'. il y a plus d’un an
