Jason Momoa Spotted On ‘Game Of Thrones’ Set: Is Khal Drogo Back From The Dead?

Wait a minute, is Khal back from the dead? Just a week after Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa reunited for a cute pic in Paris, they were spotted in Spain — shooting for ‘Game of Thrones!’

Everyone was wondering if Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) could possibly return from the dead, but apparently they should have been worried about Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa), who was killed by his wife, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), in season one. On Oct. 13, fans spotted Jason on set of 

, walking next to Emilia in Spain! Wait, what is going on here?

In the photos, which can be seen here, the two are in desert in Almeria, walking alongside a horse. Another snap shows Jason on a horse, smoking a cigarette. While we’d love to think this means he’s returning to the show, he wasn’t only killed in season one, his body was 

after Daenerys smothered him… so, we’re guessing this is just a flashback.

The creators behind the HBO show have been mum about what’s coming up, but we have a feeling that after the Cersei flashback that changed everything, flashbacks will be a big part of this season. Plus, that would explain why Kit Harrington still has those locks.

Regardless, we do know that Jason and Emilia have stayed pretty close friends throughout the years. The two were spotted together last week at Paris Fashion Week when Emilia posted an adorable pic of them laughing. “Well I guess the sun rises in the west and sets in the east then huh? Paris fashion week just kicked off….! 👊🏻 #Momoaloveforlifebaby #nomorebeerleftinparis #bestdresseddothraki,” she captioned it. Watch
