I don't think either of them are stalkers. If Phillip came and watched her silently several different times then to me that would be a stalker thing. But since he hears her singing and fails at finding her on his own it doesn't seem stalkerish to me. The fact that he did come out of hiding and meets her face to face helps. He just chose a very odd but opportune moment to introducing himself.

I guess not. They happen to be coming across attractive opposite-sex humans and get attracted to them. It's still natural to be curious about the one you like. Stalkers are, like, watching them every time, digging to get their information, and spending time on that all the time. Ariel and Phillip are nothing like them.

Yes and no

Phillip was really creepy because first of all he was a stranger who began chasing aurora, then while she was dancing he suddenly stopped her and popped out of nowhere and scared her to death, then he grabbed her hand and didn't let go. Wouldn't you be scared if some random dude just grabbed you and didn't let go until you listened to him? Yes, most likely. But I still think Phillip isn't exactly a stalker. He is creepy, but I just can't fully call him a stalker.

Ariel is kind of but let's be honest here, she didn't really stalk him. She kept dreaming about him and talking about him, exploring and everything, but not really stalking him. Their is a difference between overly talking about someone and stalking someone. Ariel was not a stalker.
