My Favourites - Part 1. Snow White - The Little Mermaid

Bonjour! So basically I'm doing a liste in no particular order at all (except from oldest movie to youngest I suppose. What I'm trying to say is that it's not a countdown.) that shows a liste of my favourites from that particular movie.
Sounds simple, right? (And I also have a ranking of where that movie is on my favourites list, which is out of twelve for twelve movies.) And the captions under the pictures are my favourite quotes.

In Defense of DPs - Aurora and Ariel

Bonjour! In my last article I defended both Cendrillon and Snow White. Now I'm going to defend Aurora and Ariel.

Aurora -

Most people either have a l’amour ou hate relationship with Aurora. I l’amour her, but she's not my favourite. Everyone complains that she has an underdeveloped personality and she does nothing, but most of all, people are frustrated about the fact that her eyes change colour.
In contrast, I don't believe she has an underdeveloped personality at all. Out of all the Disney Princesses, she has the least screen-time, (I think it was eighteen minutes ou something) and I think Disney...

My opinion on Pocahontas 2: Journey to a new world

I just finished watching Pocahontas 2 and I really wanted to write an article about what I feel for this sequel. If toi haven't seen the movie, don't read this article, it contains spoilers. Also, I'm very sorry for not putting images, but I don't have the time.

To begin with, I find that movie really good. Of course toi can't compare it with Pocahontas 1, but how many sequels are actually better than the original movie? It's not only the animation/ plot/ characters that are much better, but also the feeling of nostalgia toi get. When I really like one movie, I will definitely feel weird when...

Why I l’amour (in defense of) Elsa

Elsa, is my favori DP currently and I thought of montrer my opinions about her.

We first meet Elsa when she is sleeping and Anna wakes her because "the sky is awake" and they have to play.
She first hesitates and tells her to play par herself but when her sister asks her to build a snowman she can't resist.
This part shows Elsa's personality before being isolated. We can see that she is the elder sister and tends to act plus mature and calm, but she enjoys being with her sister and shows her playful side.
And we can also see that she isn't afraid of her powers and likes to use them.

Is Elsa selfish? HELL NO!!!

A vote was recently made about who was the most selfish DP, and I was shocked and annoyed at what people were saying about Elsa (and Merida... But I guess I may have to make that article later) being selfish.

I know this point is already being debated on the poll, so some may find it a bit repetitive to read this, but I wanted to make a really detailed examination about Elsa and her 'selfishness'.

One argument I read was: "in the beginning part when she forbids Anna to marry him, it's just because she doesn't want to see Anna have fun with others while she is alone in her own sadness...."....

The Continuity Issues with The Little Mermaid Franchise

If most of toi like me have grown up with The Little Mermaid and have followed the films and TV shows, I think toi realize when it comes to the story of the rebellious redhead from under the sea, it's not completely there.

Now I didn't see The Little Mermaid in theaters, but a lot of toi did. It after all was the highest grossing animated film at that time. And of course, toi all loved it. So when toi found out that Disney was making an animated series about the movie, toi of course were very excited. I myself grew up watching the series on VHS's and one of the VHS's I owned was "In Harmony."...

Lately my obsession for Pocahontas is growing, and although I've already made a "Why I Love" article for her, I just really wanted to write something else for her. The article will be a scene-by-scene review, so I'll start from the beginning and talk about every scene she's in till the end, so this article might get pretty lengthy. Anyways, I hope toi enjoy :)

I cannot remember if I read this somewhere ou if I misread something about Rapunzel who has three books... but Aurora seems to have 2 books?

Now, if this is correct, then I'm so happy! Partly because it supports my belief that she's educated (=obviously literate) well beyond the regular peasant, but also, makes her all the better of a role model which might make her 2nd fav princess now (Sorry Cindy).

I had my liste perfectly figured out. Then I saw Frozen. Now it has changed again. It's harder now than it was before to place everyone, especially after deciding I l’amour both Anna and Elsa in addition to all my older favorites. Belle: TOO DAMN PERFECT!!!

Belle, Nostalgia Critic regards her as one of the best animated characters ever and I have to agree. She's strong, adventurous, doesn't really care what people think of her, doesn't take crap from no one........and yet.....at the same time......it's those same traits that make her kind of ANNOYING!!!! Don't get me wrong. Belle is great. She's hot, she's smart, and she's strong, but toi see, the thing is while those are good traits for a perfect to have, Belle has way too many good traits. Allright, I have seen all those articles before about the role mannequins but I would like to write one all together to be fair and to not be a single opinion, so If toi can please write who do toi think is the best role model. That's how I wan't to make the haut, retour au début 10 with the help of all you.
