Alright, confession time: I set out to do this role model countdown with a certain level of zeal that I'm sure surprised some of you, but truth be told: it's part of some deeper research I've been working on for a while.

I've been researching and écriture about my findings with Disney and feminism for a while, but I wanted to see what toi GUYS, the devoted fans, see in your favori (or least favorite) heroines. Are they truly good role models?...

I think everyone on this site remembers having their first crush on a Disney character. I definitely remember mine, and to be honest, I still kind of have a crush on my favori Disney guy. I haven't done a princess rant in a long time, so let's get the ball rolling again with Pocahontas.

First of all as much as I l’amour the film Pocahontas it is easy to see why history buffs would find this movie frustrating. Disney took a story that was perfectly fine the way it was and made borderline unnecessary changes to it. In real life Pocahontas and John Smith were never involved romantically, their bond was plus of a sibling relationship and Poca was also very much underage. This is just to name afew quite frankly pointless changes to the story. But then again, I can't really blame...

I just relearned how to make crossover pics and it got me thinking about my favori crossover couples, plus specifically, the DP couples. There are ten couples here since I didn't include Merida for obvious reasons. Their ranking is my least favori to my favorite. ou basically least shipped to most shipped. But was the world "ready" for women to vote when they were allowed to vote with the nineteenth amendment? Was the world "ready" for school integration in Brown v. Board? Was the world "ready" to legalize gay marriage when it did? (Sorry I'm basing this all off of American examples, as I am American and I know a large portion of this site is) The answer to all of those questions is, if toi define ready as an overwhelming support, no. But that didn't stop them from happening, and in my opinion it shouldn't stop this either.

While I understand La Reine des Neiges isn't the most well loved movie on Fanpop, that doesn't keep me from adoring the protagonist a anymore.

It's strange because I keep on finding her sister, Elsa in the bottom two of my Disney Princess list. I admit that is kind of biased, because I have nothing wrong with her character- but her fans basically ruined her for me.

Enough about Elsa! This article is about Anna!

First of me explain how much Anna is like me- we have similar personalities, I can personally relate to her flaws and loneliness. I too can be known to fall for the first nice guy I know, and end up...

I have seen that many people on fanpop dislike Jasmine, ou at least don't give her much credit. She happens to be my 2nd favori princess, and I just l’amour how confident and adventurous she is. Here I will explain why I like her and deliver on some common things a dit against Jasmine.

I noticed I'm not good at describing beauties because I don't care much about that topic. But having a Prettiest Princess liste is crucial so I had to do this haha, enjoy :) The images were made par petitetiaras, except for Anna's and Elsa's that were made par Punziella. I think it's a little easier to compare their beauties when they are modeled about the same way.

Merida is very unconventional looking so it's natural she would come in last on my list. Though she can look stunning. I've realized that after looking at some icones from editor queens on Fanpop. But with that said,...

Merida - Prologue:

The feu was burning low, casting dim and dancing shadows all around the room. Merida thought it was strangely appropriate that the flames had almost died out completely. After all, the brightest light in her life, her mother, was fading fast as well.

Anna's was difficult, so let me know if toi think any were wrong. Overall, I think Anna would value a sense of romance/adventure but also fun and loyalty. I think she'd prefer princesses who are plus like her, but in the movie she seemed to want to be plus graceful (if toi remember that funny part in FTFTIF) and of course, family is a huge priority to Anna.
