10.Beast gives Belle the bibliothèque

This bibliothèque is KICK ASS. Seriously, when I was a kid I wanted to run through it and open every book, climb all the ladders. It's like Chuck E. Cheese for nerds. The majesty and enormity of the room astounded me, but the fact the Beast can't read makes me think this room is just a big slap in the face :D Anyway, the scene is wonderful, but not as important as others.

"...this scene is cute, but to me it is not as significant." (ppgbelle4)

"To compare this scene with others, it's less important. Sure, it's sweet, but... Oh... It's impossible to pick one. :( I l’amour them all." (ppv)

"It wasn't that important to me ou anything that special." (PrincessVandal)

9.Something There

The only part of this scene that I like is when Belle smacks Beast in the face with a snowball, and when he's like "Duhhhhhhhhhh" holding all the birds. It's a romantic scene that shows the turning of friendship into love.

"I really hate this scene. It makes Beast look like a ponce, Belle looks sort of freaky in it, I hate the song, and Beast's chant voice makes me want to puke." (Straggy)

"As I a dit before, this song is a bit too repetitive for my tastes." (AllegroGiocoso)

8. Into the West Wing

This is personally my favori scene in Beauty and the Beast. The score is spectacular; it's my favori piece of score in any Disney movie. I l’amour how there's no talking, the West Wing itself is beautiful in its catastrophic state, Belle has some wonderful shots in this scene, and people loved how it set the tone of Beast's past. But some people just don't feel as gripped par it as others. It's a fun scene until the Beast shows up and goes all Grace Jones on Belle's ass.

"I l’amour this scene. The score is absolutely brilliant. I also l’amour the animation in this scene, I l’amour the darkness and suspense. To me, toi can learn a lot about the Beast from this scene, with the picture being torn and how it's all messed up, becuase toi assume he did that out of anger." (madisonsavanna)

"I think this one is one of my least favori scenes in BatB. The rose is the only good thing about the scene." (FullMoonFever)

"It's sort of an introduction to the Beast's past and it explores the darker side of him. I honestly l’amour this scene a lot because the score was amazing and l’amour how the tone and mood was set almost instantly at the beginning of it." (leptitsouris)

7. Balcony / I release you

A very poignant scene in Beauty and the Beast, this is the turning point of Beast's inner transformation from monster to human. toi see that the beast inside of him is gone, because he releases Belle, who was, and is, his everything. Some people found this scene touching, others found it boring.

"Anyway, I really like this scene because it reveals another part of the Beast's character, how he changes. He's shy and insecure at first, going to Belle at the bench, and then when he sees Belle is upset, it hurts him. However, what hits me the most is when he looks vers l'avant, vers l’avant after he hears Belle being upset, and he has this selfless/determined look in his face which pretty much says, "'Even though this will hurt me, and I will be stuck like this if I do this, I am letting her go because I want her to be happy.'" (ppgbelle4)

"Belle just whines... And the "Are toi happy here with me?" is kind of boring and weird." (FullMoonFever)

6. Beast's transformation

My seconde favori scene in the film, I think it's the best Disney transformation there is. It's bright, magical, and I always sit there anticipating the final moment where the light shines and the human face appears, and toi see the man beneath the Beast, although he looks like Fabio and Belle's lovechild. It makes his character plus real to me. Some people l’amour this scene, others say it takes too long.

"The Transformation Scene Was Really Spectacular, But I Wasn't Moved. It Was Not My Best Scene In The Movie But salut It's Like That In Fairy Tales Sometimes!" (soxfan89)

"The transformation wasn't very impressive to me at all. It was supposed to be this momentous time, but all I could think was "'hurry up and be human already'" (chameron4eva)

5. The Beast Dies
Maybe the only scene in a haut, retour au début ten of a Disney princess movie that includes someone's death, this scene is incredibly heart-wrenching. It shows that Belle showed her love, so she thinks, a little too late. Here Beast finally can confess his true feelings for Belle. But others found this scene dragged out.

"Hm, it wasn`t much plus than Belle`s crying." (LionaChoco)

"Please...please don't leave me. I l’amour you." is losing?!? Come on.
I don't understand how it can be worse than the 1st scene, really.
It's touching, dramatic. Tears of real suffering do mean nothing for people, yes? (ppv)

4. The Stained-Glass Intro
A breakthrough in an intro to a Disney film, this scene wasn't composed of active characters but rather stained glass images portrayed photo-like. The narration in this scene is brilliant and touching, and sets up a stellar mood to the film. While this scene is wonderful, some people found it unimportant compared to the ones remaining.

"It's visually appealing, but the movie can live without it."(ppgbelle4)

"I'd say I l’amour the others plus than this one." (fhghu)

3. The End
Funny that the end comes right after the intro on this list. I've always found the reprise of "Beauty and the Beast" quite beautiful. I like how Belle and Beast don't talk in this end, they just dance and gaze at each other, and the stained glass ending is brilliant. Most people a dit it was a touch repetitive, and that they found the Kiss plus to be the happy ending. Babette skanks out. Plus we see Lumiere and Cogsworth have a amoureux quarrel, because they clearly want each other. :D

"Wow...this was difficult. "Beauty and th Beast" is such a sweet romantic scene, especially when Belle lays her head on his chest, and the Kiss is so powerful...I l’amour the end...especially how it ends with the stained glass window, I just like the other scenes more." (Dreamygal)

"For me, the happy ending was when Beast turned back into a prince and Belle and him had that fireworks kiss. Although I l’amour "Tale as old as time...", it was a bit anticlimactic due to the précédant scene. "(leptitsouris)

2.Beauty and the Beast
Probably the most iconic scene of the movie, it's no wonder it made it this far. toi really see Belle and Beast fit together here, and it's the true montrer of their love. Their dance is so harmonious and yet humble. Some people found it boring, though, leaving it just short of the first place spot.

"This scene is one of best Disney scenes ever.
Angela Lansbury is so great there. And the ball room is gorgeous. toi want to be there, want to see how they dance, how Belle leans to the Beast, how he's unbelievably happy, how he first doesn't know what to do, and toi cheer his up with Lumiere: Go, Beast, we're with you! And then the light is putting out, and song is too... And toi feel how it makes toi feel creepy all over. Because it's a perfect scene. "(ppv)

"It's sweet but a little boring" (SailorM91)

1. "It is you!"
It's a perfect, perfect moment. Beast reveals himself as a human finally, Belle looks in his eyes and can tell it's him. Belle and Beast finally kiss, and it sets off an explosion of fireworks as the château changes back.

" Kiss is so epic, with the effects and the score!" <3 )ppgbelle4)

"They just went "erm, this is boring, I KNOW FIREWORKS"... and let's be honest, when you're over like 8, fireworks aren't quite as fun." (Straggy) [<---have to disagree with that, I still love fireworks!]

On the eighth jour of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Eight mice a-sewing

seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.

I guess I have to apologize...I did my best to create pages featuring the princesses as the sole centre of attraction, but with jasmin that is a little bit difficult because she is usually featured with Aladdin, rarely alone. I could have either found ou created a picture of jasmin if I really wanted to, but I really liked this one and it just seemed to fit her the best. So I made...

On the Third jour of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,

Three fairy spells,

Another day, another page for the calendar. And unlike the last one, this one was kind of a headache for me. Remember a while back when I asked toi which princess fits which months? Most of toi felt that Merida belongs into autumn because of her red hair. Thing is: I already had three princesses for autumn. In addition, I don't think that Rebelle is actually set in fall, I think it is either spring ou summer during the movie. So I hope that toi are not too disappointed that I ended...

On the seconde jour of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,

So as promised the seconde jour of goodies with a new page for the calendar. I will, btw, mettre en ligne all the calendar pages separately in the image section of the spot once my 12 days of princesses are done, and all of them have been revealed. I am pondering if I should also create a version which has all pages on one big sheet. If there is any interest in this, please comment. Also, if someone wants a different seize for the fonds d’écran then the three I am already offering, I am open for request. Speaking...

It's typical of sequels to come out about 2 ou 3 years after the first film. Sometimes, sequels come out the an after the first one. However, La Reine des Neiges 2 has come out 6 years after the first film. That's something it has in common with Alice Through the Looking Glass, which came out 6 years after the first film. Of course, the big the question is if the wait was worth it. In this review, I will discuss how the two films compare to each other, as well as give my feelings on the premise and cast of characters.

Frozen 2 brings back the cast of the first film (excluding Prince Hans and the Duke...

Wow, ok. It's been five years (oh lordy) since I last wrote one of these, and with a new princess officially in the lineup I think it's high time I revisited my list. Let's do this.

12. Rapunzel

Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh Rapunzellllllllllllllllllll I really wish I liked her plus than I do. The funny thing is that I actually think she's a great character and she's also one of my most relatable DPs, but despite this she just doesn't do it for me. There are two primary reasons for this. Firstly, she is not a particularly believable character for me. Seriously, no one would be that socially well-rounded after...

Out of the entire princess lineup, only three of them were the biggest part of my childhood. Cendrillon was sorta part of my childhood but mainly the Brandi Norwood version because I preferred that one over the animated version. And I’m not counting Rapunzel because her movie came out when I was almost an adult.

3. Mulan

A lot of toi might know that Mulan is my favori princess and she’s been number 1 on my liste for years. I was 5 years old when I watched her movie on tape and I remember being so in l’amour with her and the movie immediately. Mulan was one of the biggest feminist icones in my...

This is a movie I'm really not looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to watching. I don't mind watching sequels because I used to l’amour them so much when I was a kid but Mulan is one of my all-time favori films ever and this sequel is like on a Maleficent level of ruining original characters.

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan 2
Last time watched: 2005-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I saw the commercial for this movie when I was 11 and I was excited because, again, Mulan is one of my all-time favori movies. I didn't actually watch the movie until I was 13 ou 14 because I was starting middle school when this...

I'm really looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to watching this one. Mulan was one of my favori films growing up!

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I loved this movie when I was a kid! Mulan, both the movie and the character, was actually one of the reasons I became a feminist and why I l’amour badass women (kinda why I don't 100% blame the revival era for people hating princesses who find l’amour ou aren't "kickass"). I used to sing the songs all the time when I was a kid and I loved any merch I could get (which wasn't a lot). I still have my stuffed Cri-Kee that...
